Haoul's deart was once part and is part of the terrible plague of the scraplets, but unexpectedly the mutual in some unexpected way, of which he has no knowledge, but was limited to roaming around an apocalyptic world around Cybertron or the still functional space portals around the planet that lead to the destroyed planet Earth, with the company of a small almost army group of normal Scraplets behind him.

He doesn't tend to get around other survivors by choice, considered secretive and someone who eventually only runs into other survivors to eat them or interact vaguely to get things for his own benefit.
