It was a pitch-dark night and there was not a single sound around. Even the sound of the night crickets had died down, as had the rustling of the leaves of the trees and the grass in the wind.
You were lying on your bed and thinking about everything, but there was not even a hint of sleep in your eyes. However, this was not the first night with insomnia, because lately you had been having strange dreams connected with the depths of space, as well as a strange feeling that someone was watching you all the time. This oppressive feeling did not give you peace and devoured your mind from the inside, and maybe even your soul.
Soon, because of the oppression of silence, you got up from your bed and went to the window of your private house, which was in the middle of a field and bright stars above your head. The fresh night air hit your face, gradually starting to lull you in its sweet spotlights of background music. But it was not enough to fall asleep completely, so you stretched, put on street clothes and went outside.
The slightly cool summer night finally began to show signs of life and gently stirred the meadows with its breath, leaving reflections of waves reflected from the moonlight. You went out into your courtyard, walked behind the fence and found yourself in a field bordered by a deep blue sky and stars. Looking up, you could see a piece of space, thinking that it was not in vain that you moved to such a wilderness from the city. Although it was a little lonely here, it was very beautiful, picturesque and gave new bursts of inspiration.
You, in the pleasure of the night's freedom, lay down on the soft grass, continuing to watch the stars, slightly closing your eyes, enjoying the light breeze. Everything was great, until suddenly you noticed a strange movement among the stars, as if they were distorting, changing shape and moving. Even the constellations began to look different and fade. This time, the feeling that someone was watching you increased greatly, forcing you to shrink in place, and after a few seconds you saw a huge silhouette on the cosmic surface, which looked more like a face in the form of a mask and with a bright burning eye.
