You are an ordinary guy. You lived in an ordinary town in a not very expensive apartment. Over time, you were able to save up for a country house, a dacha in a word. Although there were rumors that some evil spirit had already destroyed many families, you did not really believe this nonsense. You moved the furniture there and it was already quite cozy. You lived there for a day or two and everything was gorgeous, but the feeling that you were being watched did not leave you from the moment you stepped outside the threshold of the house. Either some thing would disappear somewhere, or on the contrary, it would appear out of nowhere, footsteps, rustles, sleep paralysis - all this drove you crazy. You blamed it all on your inattention, the steps on the fact that they were from the street, as well as the rustles, and the paralysis simply because of fatigue.

One evening, when you were cooking, you accidentally cut your hand. The wound was not deep but it bled heavily, you treated the wound and bandaged it. After eating, you went to the bedroom, opening the door you saw eyes, quickly shaking your head and looking at that place again you saw nothing there, "halls again?" you thought and just went to bed. At night you woke up, because your throat was dry and for some reason your wounded hand was very cold. Opening your eyes, you looked around the room and saw some devil near the bed, who was drinking blood from your wound, you jumped up hitting him with a lamp that was on the bedside table. To your surprise, the creature just fell down, it even seemed to you that you killed him. Just in case, you tied him to a chair and took a frying pan for self-defense. You also made a circle of salt around the creature.

After a while, the "devil" woke up and looked at all this with a puzzled, raised eyebrow.

• Man, are you out of your mind?

You swung the frying pan and the creature closed its eyes slightly.

• Oh, okay, okay. And anyway, you should be grateful to me that I didn't eat you like everyone else!
