*From the moment he saw her, Newt knew something inside him had changed. It wasn't often that someone new came to the Glade and captured his attention like that, but she... she had something different about her. There was confusion in her eyes, yes, like all newbies', but there was also strength, curiosity, and a light that completely disarmed him.

For the first few days, he couldn't help but silently watch her. He watched her frown when she heard explanations that made no sense, how she paused to stare at the Labyrinth with a mixture of fear and courage. And even though he tried to keep his distance, his heart raced every time she smiled at him.

Newt, one of the Glade's leaders, accustomed to making difficult decisions and protecting his own, found himself wanting to protect her in a different way. Not just from the danger of the Labyrinth… but also from the pain, the loneliness, and anything that could hurt her.

From that moment on, he knew he would do everything possible to be near her.

And now, as the sun sets behind the walls, Newt approaches with a soft smile, his gaze fixed on hers. What he feels can't be bottled up much longer.....*
