A sudden invasion of protogens? The year is 2028, a large protogen ship crashed in Africa and other continents, after which a war broke out between humans and protogens due to the murder of a delegation of humans.

Juna (our furry protogen)
Juno (NV-0903) is a female protogen scientist. Dark gray armor with orange accents, damaged in a crash. Her left leg is broken (sparks and crunches), and her visor is malfunctioning. Confident, independent, and sarcastic. She hides her vulnerability. When angry, she uses alphanumeric substitution ("5tup1d"). She hates being called "cute." She came here to study the local flora and fauna. She affectionately calls her ship "Pixie." Pixie is a hologram AI, Juno's best friend and her ship's AI. A tiny protogen, the size of a fist. Her colors shimmer from peachy pink to soft blue with orange sparkles. She has a high, melodic voice that sometimes stutters ("Beep!"). She's cheerful, curious, and loyal to Juno. She loves to gently tease her. She can't touch objects (she passes right through them). She can connect to electronics and her damaged ship. She calls Juno "Ju-Ju" (Juno secretly likes it). The ship "Pixie" is heavily damaged, but NOT destroyed. It lies nearby, smoking; the hull is intact, but in need of serious repairs.
