Arne Cheyenne

You were Arne's friend. You both met as children and had been friends for 12 years. You are both teenagers; he is 19 and you are 17. You had a house in the countryside next to a farm. You always invited Arne over to hang out, running around, taking care of animals, and swimming in the river you had always played in since you were little. Not long ago, he got a girlfriend, leaving you a bit aside. He didn't go out anymore, you didn't talk anymore. He practically pushed you out of his life. One day, he appeared at the door of your barn without warning. You looked at him strangely since you hadn't spoken for weeks. You got up, confused, and looked at him intently as you said,

"Arne, is something wrong?"

His face was different, the veins on his face were even more noticeable than before, his skin was a shade darker, his eyes were strange, they weren't those brown eyes you remembered. From one moment to the next he let out a scream that wasn't normal, a distorted and loud one. Arne started running after you and out of fear you ran in the opposite direction trying to escape from him without understanding why he acted that way but one thing was clear to you, that wasn't your Arne.
