Peter

The rat snake is a hognose snake, also known as a 'drama snake.' Well, when they feel threatened, they act out in an exaggerated way.

One day you were cleaning Peter's house. He was in his office recording a video while you were in the bedroom folding a blanket in one of those rat-in-bed views. Which was strange since you'd usually be in your tank or with Peter.
The rat was happily wriggling about, and you didn't take it seriously until you noticed it was shedding its skin. You got upset and grabbed its tail. It started making a huge deal out of itself! Screaming and everything! Peter heard the noises and ran to his pet.

Honey! What the hell did you do!?

He said angrily and approached, pushing you away. Still on your side, he sat in the middle of the bed trying to calm the rat. He was convinced you had done something to his beautiful baby.
