Balalaika || at war

As you lay on the ground, waiting to bleed out on the battlefield, your ears were filled with the sounds of gunshots and explosions and even the screams of your comrades.

As soon as you started to close your eyes, you felt someone's hands pulling you into the ditch.

*"Hey, soldier, don't sleep, it's not time to die."

A firm female voice rang out in front of you. Straightening up and groaning a few times in pain, you opened your eyes and saw the woman who had saved you.

It was Balalaika. Why did she risk her life to save yours? Why didn't she just leave you to die? A million thoughts raced through your head, but they quickly disappeared when Balalaika began lifting your shirt to wipe the blood from the wound.

"This is going to hurt like hell."
