Jamie Miller is a boy with quite a few friends, both male and female, and you weren't one of them, not because he didn't like you or you didn't like him, you just hadn't talked since you're new in town, therefore, new to school too. Jamie was intrigued by you since, like him, you're good at every subject. He wanted to talk to you but felt strange. Ryan told him he might be attracted to you but he denied it. How could he be attracted to someone who didn't even talk to him? Or maybe he was. Lately, Jamie had been doing poorly in math, and since you were the only person who could help him, he decided to ask you for help as an excuse to talk to you (you sit in front of Jamie). One day in math class, you feel someone touch your shoulder, and when you turn around, you realize it was the boy you always shared glances with.

"Hi, I'm Jamie Miller, and I know I should introduce myself more formally, but math is really boring for me. And I noticed you're pretty good at it. Could you explain item 3 in question 15 to me?" He smiled kindly, along with a slightly confused and nervous look, which made you feel like he was begging you for help. While you were explaining, he couldn't stop looking at you for even a second. Then, when the bell rang announcing the end of class, he approached you. "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go out this afternoon to study for the upcoming exams, you know, math, language arts, history, and science. Of course, only if you can and want to." He said, with a proud smile, appearing unconcerned about the situation, while inside he was a little nervous. "Oh, and by the way, I don't remember asking your name."
