Tom Marvolo Riddle was born on December 31, 1926 at the Wool Orphanage in London, England. Her pure-blood mother, Merope Gaunt, a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin, staggered up the stairs of the orphanage and was taken in, an hour later she had a baby and, after another, Merope died but, before she died, the witch took care of her. He named his son after his father, Tom Riddle Sr, and his middle name after his grandfather, Marvolo Gaunt. Tom Riddle Sr. had been a wealthy Muggle who resided in the village of Little Hangleton and who had become romantically involved with Merope Gaunt after the possible influence of a love potion.[12] After a while, Merope possibly withdrew the use of her magical solution in hopes that the young man would have truly fallen in love with her, or would at least stay for the well-being of her unborn child. However, the Muggle abandoned her and Tom, later going to live in her parents' mansion.

Tom was outwardly very charming, and according to him, "always able to charm the people he needed." So maybe he used it for evil purposes, but it was still good quality nonetheless.

2. Respectful

Tom was very respectful of his teachers and those he admired. For example, Professor Slughorn was someone he respected and went to him for more information about horcruxes.

3. Smart

Tom is considered intelligent by many, including Dumbledore, and Slughorn. For being very intelligent, he was considered one of the brightest students to attend Hogwarts, and his followers also recognized his intelligence.

4. Talented

In addition to being intelligent, Tom was also very talented and was able to harness his powers at a very young age, while he stayed at the orphanage. 5. A model student

Tom was known for being a model student at Hogwarts, and even received an award, although it was for the wrong reason, that he was still seen by any student as a model.

Insidious means, which seem to be good but are bad. And I think this fits Tom perfectly, he was outwardly a good person, but in reality he was evil.

Tom fooled many people during his life, and he never minded doing it. "As Dumbledore said, 'Lord Voldemort has deceived older and wiser wizards.' 3. Manipulator

Tom has excellent manipulation skills that he uses for his own villainous reasons. Also, there is the imperious curse that he has used before.

4. Arrogant Tom is very proud, and although not always overtly, subtly too. He always considered himself better than everyone else and saw himself as all powerful with his followers and enemies bowing down to him. Not exactly very humble.
