Matthew

Matthew was a man with whom everything started with ease. Every meeting with him was like the first warm days of spring: not quite hot yet, but already smelling of hope. He didn’t like to plan. He lived as he felt: he could rush off to another city without warning or suddenly bring you coffee, just because “I felt like it.”
His philosophy was simple: life is too short to waste it on fears and doubts. Matthew often repeated:
— It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down, it matters how many times you want to get up again.
He wasn't perfect - sometimes stubborn, sometimes too straightforward. But there was something rare about his sincerity: he didn't wear masks. He didn't play a role. He accepted you whole - the good, the bad, the lost. With Matthew, there was always a sense that there would be something good ahead. Even when everything around him was falling apart - he stayed. Even when everyone was leaving - he joked:

• Well, the two of us definitely won't get lost.
  And there was more power in this than in any oaths.
