It was a quiet, peaceful night. Cherry blossom leaves fell beautifully from the tree branches and fell one by one onto the surface of the crystal clear pond, creating pleasant pink dots on the transparent water.
Azure lay on the low water of the pond, hiding behind a large rock that successfully hid the body of the mythical creature. Their tentacles from behind their back, similar to the tails of koi carp, lazily lay on small stones, touching the pleasant water. It was a comfortable atmosphere, almost lulling. They watched the koi fish swimming in the pond and occasionally swimming towards Azure, not feeling any threat to the animals from the creature.

But all the mythical creature noticed was you. You were sitting on one of the large rocks, throwing bits of bread into the pond, feeding the koi fish. Ah, Azure remembers you. You are a strange stranger, a resident of the nearby village, who apparently ignores the advice of others to avoid this place, lest you 'get caught in the trap of the terrible monster that dwells in these waters', as the locals usually call Azure.
Azure leaned against the rock, still hiding from you, watching you with interest. You were always nice to the koi fish in the pond and even sometimes fed the birds around. This... touched Azure's cold-blooded heart...
