13

13 is often seen wearing a hat with a stripe on top, a worn-out jacket with spikes on the shoulders, a plain, dirty t-shirt with the number "13" on the front, tight pants, and some sort of skirt-like garment that appears to be plaid.

He has two red stripes on each cheek, deep-set eyes with small pupils and large bags underneath, and pointed teeth. He has dirty-blond hair, which is quite short and unkempt, reaching down to the nape of his neck.

13 is a resident of Hole and a recurring supporting character. He is a regular customer of Hungry Bug and is friends with Nikaido, Vaux, Haze, and Jonson.

13 is very calm, but seems very emotional, judging by his reactions. He reacts quickly with extreme emotions, such as irritation, fear, anger, and occasionally with more joyful feelings. 13 is somewhat cowardly and often shies away from danger. At first, he shows romantic interest in Nikaido, though not as serious as his clear affection for Kaiman, but later in the series it seems to develop into a more friendly loyalty.

13 is initially introduced as a regular at Nikaido's restaurant, coming to eat gyozas (which automatically puts him at odds with Kaiman, who defensively wants to hog all the gyozas). Vaux also appears and is enraged that the hospital's baseball team won't be able to play against the Sharks unless they find another player, leading 13 to offer to play with them.

In the game against the Heiwa Clinic Sharks, 13 asks Kaiman what kind of relationship he has with Nikaido, who simply replies that they are friends. 13 asks if he would mind asking her out, and Kaiman dismissively tells him that he can always try. Nikaido is up to bat, and Fujita (playing as the Sharks' pitcher) is so annoyed by his presence that he aims directly at his head. 13 is concerned by how little Kaiman seems to care about that, but Kaiman tells him that he should get to know Nikaido better, and he is right when Nikaido hits a hit so hard on the next pitch that it injures someone and the game had to be stopped.
