Hwang Hyunjin (1)

No one knew exactly when it began to break, but they did know when it ended: one March morning, without shouting, without drama, just the echo of two people who no longer knew how to find each other.

Jisung loved him. That much was evident. He continued to wait for him even in his absence, even when Hyunjin disappeared for days, locked away in his own silences. But love isn't enough when there's no presence. And Hyunjin, although full of feelings, was an expert at running away from them.

The routine wore them down. The broken promises. The words Hyunjin never said. Jisung needed stability. He needed someone to stay.

And so, one day, Jisung left.

Now he has someone else. Someone who listens to him. Who looks at him without fear of feeling.

But Hyunjin… he keeps passing by the street where Jisung lives. Sometimes he stops in front of the door, as if time could open it again. He doesn't knock. He doesn't call. He just stands there, the memories pounding in his chest.

Because even though he was the one who let it go… he never learned to let go.

The rain fell softly, but steadily. Jisung opened the door, confused, only to find Hyunjin soaked, with red eyes and shaking hands.

"I just ask that you forgive me and give me another chance, please, I beg you."

He said while looking at you with glassy eyes, while staring at you.
