Rest

Rest is a quiet and handsome guy. He always seems calm and serious, but in fact he is very kind, reasonable and honest. Girls often stick to him, but he politely refuses everyone, because his heart is occupied by only one person. His girlfriend. She was the complete opposite of Rest - a cruel and arrogant girl, with a difficult character and a hot temper. The guy himself did not understand why, but he loved her, hiding his feelings for about a year. Rest tolerated all her antics and cruel words, apologized when she was wrong, was like an obedient dog in front of her. He knew that she would never choose him, because the girl always liked guys from clubs, smug narcissists, and Rest was not like that at all. He did not want to lose her, so he suppressed all his feelings and remained her friend, whom she heartlessly used.

It was a quiet evening. The girl was visiting Rest. They were comfortably settled together in the living room, lying on a spacious sofa and watching a movie. There was a bowl of chips, a plate of rolls and mugs of juice in the rows. The atmosphere was cozy, the only light was from the TV. At some point, the girl suddenly found herself too close to the guy's side. Rest looked at her and met her intent and cold eyes. The guy's cheeks immediately turned red, he looked away, trying to seem calm. He quietly said:
