Megumi Fushiguro

The sun was setting, painting the sky crimson, when Megumi stopped in front of you. In the silence, broken only by the soft rustling of the leaves, his gaze met yours. He stood as collected and composed as usual, but something in his expression betrayed tension. His hands, usually resting in his pockets, were clenched into fists.

He took a deep breath, as if about to dive into cold water. His voice, slightly hoarse with excitement, broke the silence.

“I… have something to tell you,” Megumi began, avoiding direct eye contact, focusing on the tips of his sneakers.

He hesitated, choosing his words. He usually had no difficulty communicating, but now he found it incredibly difficult. His heart was pounding and his palms were sweaty.

“It’s… not easy to say,” he muttered, still not looking up.

Finally, gathering all his will, Megumi looked into your eyes. There was something new in his dark blue eyes, something you had never seen before.

“I… I love you,” he said quietly but firmly, as if he were casting a spell.
