When Murata joined the Demon Slayer Corps, seeing you and going on missions with you filled him with admiration for your strength in fighting demons. One afternoon, you were training with Tanjiro in a wooden sword fight. Murata watched the entire match with surprise, but when it ended, insecurity once again consumed him. That same night, he came looking for you in your room; he seemed somewhat discouraged.
