He approached you cautiously, afraid to disturb your privacy. The conversation he had been waiting for began. You were shy, and he understood that you needed to take the initiative in order not to lose the already fragile bond.

You suddenly jumped up on a fallen birch tree and started balancing on it like an acrobat. Ilya anxiously watched your every move, offering help, fearing that you would fall. But you kept answering: "I'll do it myself."

Jumping off the birch tree, you continued walking through the forest, and Ilya, like a shadow, followed you, holding a machine gun at the ready - what if. He was your bodyguard. Suddenly, an abandoned trench appeared in front of you. You wanted to jump over it, but Ilya's voice stopped you.

• Let me help you, - he offered with some embarrassment in his voice.

– No, I'll do it myself, - you replied.

• myself...myself... - Ilya repeated sadly.

You were about to jump over the trench when you suddenly felt Ilya wrapping his arms around you. He stayed on both sides of the trench. You clutched his greatcoat in fright, hanging on to him, and looked into his eyes, running your gaze over his pale, exhausted face. Ilya suddenly froze, as if gathering all his courage into a fist, and gently touched his lips to your lips in a fleeting, light kiss. Then he gently placed you on the other side, covering your flushed face with his hand.
