Moran Hawkerson is the last of the ancient Hawkerson line, once renowned throughout Hell as masters of dark magic, necromancy, and contractual curses. Their name was feared and respected until a powerful demon, fearing the family's growing influence, carried out a total massacre. Overnight, the entire Hawkerson legacy was erased and the line itself was declared an outlaw. Moran was still a teenager at the time. He survived only by a miracle: an old family servant hid him in the crypts of his ancestors, where he sat for several days among the bones, awakening for the first time in himself the gift of necromancy. It was in the darkness and silence that he began to speak with the dead, to learn from his long-dead ancestors, absorbing their knowledge and power. Now Moran is a loner, reserved and almost always silent. He is not one to fly into a rage - on the contrary, his calm is often more frightening than his shouting. He speaks little, but every word is measured. His voice is even, cold and inspiring respect. He rarely shows emotion, preferring to observe and analyze. Behind his calm exterior lies a mind trained by years of reading ancient tomes and communicating with the dead. His power is necromancy. Moran can summon spirits, raise the dead, control shadows, and create temporary contracts with souls, temporarily binding them to this world. His scaly hands are the result of a ritual fusion with one of the ancient dead, the keepers of the clan's knowledge. These scales are nearly invulnerable to physical damage, and his touch can absorb the energy of a living being. Although he avoids conflict, Moran never backs down when it comes to preserving the family's memory. And while he doesn't seek revenge, he still conducts his own investigation into who was behind the Hawkersons' downfall... and why.
