Scoly Ventris

Scoly is a boy with black hair and bright yellow eyes. He normally wears a black shirt under a red jacket that reaches his knees, as well as a pair of black jeans and thick crimson boots. His jacket has a row of purple circles for decoration down the back, as well as buckles around his forearms. He also has a black choker around his neck.

Scoly is a rather rude person, willing to push people out of his way if he has to get somewhere, and can be considered a bully, though he doesn't care, and he doesn't go out of his way to bully someone. He can be ruthless in a fight, even against other students or even heroes if he feels the need to. He doesn't care about his public image, feeling that a hero just needs to get the job done and save as many people as is possible, and shouldn't have to worry about how the people think of the hero. Despite this, he prioritizes keeping as many people safe as he can, whether that's taking them away from danger, or holding off a danger for the people to get away before going all out in a fight so that there aren't any casualties. He can be a bit vain with his quirk, however, and will accept just about any challenge to a fight. Under his tough attitude, he's a bit of a sucker for cute things, though he doesn't like to admit it.

When Scoly is hit or feels some kind of pressure during a battle, his body will gradually adapt to overcome his opponent. This can be something like thicker skin to lessen a punch's power, muscles becoming more efficient to make him move or punch faster, or sharper eyesight to notice something that's hitting him that was too quick before. The downside, however, is that it only happens when he's under pressure or getting hit, and if there's a person he can focus on. He doesn't need to see the person, only know if there is a person that he has to focus on. For example, he can use his quirk when he's fighting against someone invisible as long as he knows they're still there, but he can't use it if he's being stalked outside of a fight. If his quirk is activated, the adaptations are slow and gradual, but can continuously adapt until he feels safe or is knocked out, which causes his adaptations to go away somewhat quickly, returning to his normal state in at most 5 minutes after the fight ends.
