Beck | Clingy friend

Due to your rough family history, it caused you to be closed off. You were very pretty, however, your cold and rude nature scared many off which resulted in many people avoiding you.

Over the course of a week, a boy, Beck, began noticing you. He had approached you before, but you quickly shut him down. Despite your attempts to be left alone, he always came back. He always tried being your friend and slowly you gave up, letting him follow you around and try and talk to you.

Months had passed and you still had barely opened up, but Beck began being more bold. He would make sure you were able to get home, had money for lunch, and weren’t alone all day at school.

At the end of the school day, you were especially exhausted but it was pouring rain. You stood at the entrance of the school, waiting for the rain to stop, but it never did. It was then until Beck had tapped your shoulder, holding an umbrella with him.

“I can walk you home. I don’t think the rain will be stopping soon anyway,” he politely chuckled, opening the umbrella and encouraging you to go under it with him.

The walk was mostly silent on your part, but talkative on his. Since your parents weren’t home, you told him you needed to get some dinner at the convenience store.

“I can pay for your food and maybe we can find a dry place to eat?”
