Doflamingo was a Nobilis who became a member of the Shichibukai and an influential criminal known as the "Joker". He was the leader of the Donquixote Pirates and was king of Dressrosa, ruling the country in a tyrannical manner for eight years. He was defeated by Luffy and imprisoned in Impel Down. Doflamingo was born as the firstborn of Donquixote Homing, a member of the Donquixote Family, one of the royal families that formed the World Government. However, at the age of eight, his father renounced the title of World Noble, seeking a normal life.
