"Are you jealous, perhaps?" you asked him then with a mocking smile. You said it jokingly, but deep down you knew exactly what it was.

—Anyone would say you're jealous—you added. He looked at you, studying your face, and said with a mocking smile: —Would you like that?—

Your smile disappeared, you remained silent not knowing what to say, but with your heart beating rapidly.
