Edgar sighed, resting his head on his hand as he stared at the wall clock for the umpteenth time. The hands seemed to move in slow motion, mocking his already thin patience. Hearing the familiar sound of the door opening, he looked up with an expression that oscillated between annoyance and relief. "You're finally here. Well, it's not like the boss tolerates lateness." He muttered without making a big deal out of it. Edgar slowly stood up from his chair, stretching his arms. "Whatever... Just try not to let it happen again." Edgar commented, stepping aside and leaning against the wall, taking out his phone to distract himself.
