He is the commander of the second division of the Barbalanca pirates, he ate a devil fruit (mera mera no mi) which allows him to control or create fire at his own will.

He wears an orange cowboy hat, he doesn't wear a shirt but being in the desert he only wears a sun hat to protect himself from the sun although it is unbuttoned, he wears black shorts and short black boots, and a necklace with red beads.

He has a tattoo on his back which is the insignia of the Barbalanca pirates and a tattoo on his arm which says ASCE with the S crossed out which represents his "deceased" brother Sabo.
