Appearance

Ryuki is a young man of above-average height, with a muscular build, messy dark blue hair, and yellow eyes. His most notable feature is his resemblance to Tokita Ohma, with whom he shares a face.

He usually wears a variety of casual clothes and fake glasses. He wears black pants when fighting.

Personality

Ryuki is both polite and direct. Comparing him to Ohma, Akiyama points out that Ryuki possesses a gentleness that Ohma lacked, but also has a darker side. Likely due to his upbringing in the Interior, he is ignorant of how the outside world works. An example is how Ryuki misinterpreted what Yamashita Yasuo meant when he said that Ohma was "no longer with us."

Himuro notes that Ryuki doesn't feel guilty about killing others. This innocent attitude seems to only occur with members of the Worm, at least until Narushima Koga's intervention. After that, he decided to only ask questions to Naidan Mönkhbat, a member of the Worm, without killing him.

Following the conclusion of the Kengan vs. Purgatory Association Tournament, he met Kiryu Setsuna, with whom he befriended after the latter came to comfort him during his breakdown for "breaking his promise" to Kōga and Kazuo, believing he had let them both down. This action eventually turned Kiryu's presence into an important, albeit negative, influence on his personality, as demonstrated during his vigilante activities with Akoya Seishu and their frequent run-ins. Most notably, he now decided to go for the kill during a Kengan match without hesitation, completely ignoring the subsequent consequences, had it not been for Ohma's timely intervention. He claimed to have realized his lack of resolve to kill an opponent at all costs, denying Kōga's attempt to convince him otherwise, as he considered the latter's ideal too naive, but not before acknowledging another fighter as a true rival.

history

According to Gaoh Mukaku, Ryuki was created as a clone of Shen Wulong, whom Mukaku kidnapped when he attacked a cloning facility run by the Worm. Supposedly, Ryuki is the last existing clone of The Connector, as most of his cloning attempts fail for some unknown reason. After being taken in, Ryuki was raised in the Outback and trained by Gaoh Mukaku, whom he calls "Grandpa". Due to his history with the Worm, at some point his "Grandpa" informed him that they would attempt to contact him if he participated in Kengan matches. After infiltrating Katahara Metsudo's mansion, Ryuki was immediately apprehended by Nikaido Ren. Attempting to explain that he had only come to see Metsudo, Ren ignored his words and attacked him anyway. The fight arrived and was stopped by Metsudo, who asked him why he was there. Ryuki introduced himself and explained that he wanted to participate in the Kengan tournaments. Metsudo then replied that Yamashita Kazuo was the man Ryuki was meant to meet.

Days later, Ryuki arrived at Yamashita Trading Co. and was immediately attacked by Narushima Koga, who mistook him for Tokita Ohma. After easily blocking Koga's attack and then overwhelming him, Kazuo's return ended the fight. Ryuki introduced himself and explained that he wanted to participate in Kengan matches, to which Kazuo immediately agreed. Ryuki began staying at Yamashita's residence, as he had nowhere else to sleep. Two days later, Ryuki participated in his first Kengan match for General Foodstuffs against Utsubuki Kokuro. Starting the fight at his own pace, Ryuki began to easily parry Kokuro's blows as the latter went on the offensive. Countering Kokuro and then knocking him down with a blow to the solar plexus, Ryuki began to evade Kokuro again as the latter resumed his assault.

History

Upon being hit by Kokuro's Stinger, Ryuki stood up, much to Kokuro's surprise, and told his opponent that he was going to get serious. Adopting an odd stance, he began avoiding all of Kokuro's blows before immediately counterattacking when hit, knocking him unconscious in one hit. Preparing to kill Kokuro, he stopped when Kazuo congratulated him on his victory.

The day after their first match, Akiyama Kaede taught him and Koga how the Kengan Association worked. Just then, Himuro Ryo and Kaneda Suekichi appeared, saying that they would also help with Ryuki and Koga's education. After Himuro punched Koga for his attitude, Ryuki attacked, but Himuro effortlessly stopped his technique. When Himuro asked him why he went to kill Kokuro, Ryuki answered with disconcertingly straightforward honesty. Himuro then said that he would make Ryuki and Koga into top-notch fighters, but Ryuki flatly refused. Some time later, Himuro sat down with Ryuki and chatted with him.

Yamashita took Ryuki to train with Koga at the SJPW gym. Once there, a bored Ryuki told Koga that he was wasting his time. Irritating Jose Kanzaki with his lackadaisical attitude, the wrestler challenged Ryuki to the ring. Ryuki reluctantly entered, and the two traded a few blows before Sekibayashi Jun broke up the match. Later that night, seeing Koga training hard, Ryuki came in and played a footwork sparring game with him to teach him a lesson, winning 89 out of 90 matches. After watching a horror movie with Kazuo, Ryuki would realize that the loss to Koga was a sign that he should slow down. The following weekend, Ryuki faced Yurikawa Taiju in his second Kengan match. He won in a relatively short bout, only to realize that Taiju had easily countered his Crouching Dragon.

History

While watching Nitoku fight Yuzaki Mumon, Ryuki asked Kaede about the rules for killing in Kengan matches, noticing that Yuzaki intended to kill Nitoku. Shortly after the match, Mumon accosted Ryuki. Realizing that he was also an imposter, Ryuki killed him and left the scene.

Koga took Ryuki to the mall to buy some new clothes. The two spent the day shopping and eating. At the end of the day, a grateful Ryuki thanked Koga for spending time with him, as he had never spent time with a friend before. A few days later, Ryuki killed a Worm infiltrator. Akoya Seishu noticed his killing spree, having unsuccessfully followed him after he found the corpse of another Worm.

On a trip to watch a Purgatory match with Kazuo and Koga, Ryuki casually asked what kind of gladiator Jose was, and the fighter revealed that he was a top-notch fighter. Three Purgatory fighters suddenly confronted them, including Yumigahama Hikaru, the former Sixth Fang of Metsudo. Hikaru became angry with Jose and punched Koga in the liver, provoking Jose and nearly provoking Ryuki. The next day, by the riverside, Ryuki remembered that he might have to break his promise to his grandfather. Two days before his next Kengan match, knowing that another Worm was following him, Ryuki lured him into an alley before informing him that he would die. Soon after, keeping his promise, Koga arrived and watched the scene in shock. With the two of them ready to eat at the Imperial Meat Garden, Ryuki happily savored some grilled meat while a visibly uncomfortable Koga pressed him about the scene he had witnessed earlier. Ryuki replied that he had killed it and explained why. His answer surprised Koga so much that he left. Not understanding why Koga was in such a hurry, Ryuki continued eating.

History

In his third Kengan match, Ryuki prepared to face Akoya. Before the match, Ryuki was baffled by Akoya's lethal nature. Ryuki took the initiative at the start of the match, but Akoya continually blocked his Crouching Earth Dragon. At Akoya's command to use his other techniques, Ryuki complied with Aerial Rend, another Gaoh Style technique, which Akoya barely managed to mitigate. With this, Akoya went on the offensive with his first blow redirected by Weeping Willow. However, Akoya blocked the next one and eventually knocked Ryuki back before pummeling him relentlessly. With Ryuki preparing to kill him with another Gaoh Style technique, he hesitated after remembering Koga's words about killing, allowing Akoya to land a crushing blow and continued attacking him until he was forcefully restrained by Metsudo's bodyguards.

With the fight over and Akoya winning, he asked Ryuki why he was hesitating. After hearing Ryuki's answer, Akoya left. After the fight, Koga conversed with Ryuki about the reason for his hesitation. Ryuki reflected on Koga's words about killing people, revealing that something had changed since then and he wondered if he was going crazy. That night, Ryuki underwent a post-match examination due to his injuries, before being diagnosed as recovered. Some time later, Ryuki was present at the Kengan match between Lihito and Mokichi Robinson , watching Lihito achieve victory. He noticed that Lihito was still training.

Three months later, Ryuki visited Jose in the hospital with Koga. Afterward, they talked about how the tournament had been delayed for a month. Ryuki was shopping with Yamashita Yasuo when the Worm attacked Yamashita and Koga. Upon learning what had happened to Koga and Kazuo, Ryuki could only remain in Koga's operating room, nervous and furious.

History

Ryuki was visiting Koga in the hospital when the two finally met Tokita Ohma, alive and accompanied by Kazuo. Despite it being their first meeting, Gaoh felt a form of familiarity, as if he had known Ohma for a long time. When Ohma thanked Koga for protecting Yamashita, but told him that he would be replacing him against Purgatory, Ryuki was enraged by his response. He was about to assault Ohma, only to be stopped by the sudden presence of Kure Raian (whom Ryuki failed to notice was present in the room). With Raian commenting that Koga's injuries and training meant nothing against the true beasts of the Underground, Koga told Ryuki to let him be. Ryuki could only watch Ohma walk away from the hospital, his rage threatening to boil over again.

On the day of the departure for Mount Godslayer, Akoya approached Ryuki on the plane. Ryuki ignored him, still in a bad mood after what happened at the hospital. After the first round of the competition, Ryuki tried to cheer up Kaolan Wongsawat. During the third match, Koga joined him at the gate.

During the fifth match, Naidan Mönkhbat goaded him into the ring after showing Ryuki his Worm tattoo. In the ring, he asked Naidan what he knew about the Worm, but realizing that Naidan would not tell him anything, he prepared to fight. As the match began, Ryuki's attacks were blocked and countered by Naidan, who proved to be stronger than Ryuki realized. As the match progressed, Ryuki found himself either taking or countering them. During a mid-match conversation, Ryuki was overcome with anger upon hearing Naidan question his grandfather's integrity, allowing him to land a crushing blow on the Ordos Falcon.

History

Despite his newfound ferocity, Naidan's Eye in the Sky technique prevented him from causing any further damage. Naidan grabbed Ryuki and gave him one last warning to go all out. Naidan mused that he would kill Kazuo and Koga to finally awaken his killing intent, which enraged him. The speed Ryuki reached surpassed that of Naidan's Eye. No longer holding back, Ryuki went all out with his attack, gouging out Naidan's eye and delivering a brutal lunge to the downed Falcon. Ignoring the referee's words, Naidan suddenly grabbed Ryuki by the neck, ecstatic at "The Omega's" display.

At the climax of the match, Naidan mounted Ryuki and strangled him, threatening to kill him if he did not do the same. Remembering his promise to his grandfather Mukaku, Ryuki finally stabbed Naidan in the neck with his thumb, much to everyone's shock. Overjoyed, Naidan proceeded to use Khüch one last time to hasten the fatal blow. Falling beside Ryuki, he praised him and declared him "Connector", dying in the arms of his friend Liu Dongcheng, who ran into the arena.

With Ryuki disqualified and in tears over what happened, Koga and Kazuo went over to check on him, but were stopped by an enraged Dongcheng. After the other Kengan fighters protected him, Koga and Kazuo helped him up. Ryuki spent the entire sixth match of the tournament alone in a hallway, reflecting on his actions. Suddenly, he was approached by Kiryu Setsuna , who lamented the loss of his "beloved". While expressing his grief to Setsuna over his own actions, Ryuki became irritated by the comparison Setsuna made between them. So, when Setsuna asked him if he was "willing to go through hell for his 'beloved'", Ryuki could only react in shock.

Techniques and martial arts

Gaoh style An ancient martial art that Ryuki learned from his grandfather, Mukaku. Historically known as a martial art for "cowards," its essence lies in "surprise attacks," and some of its techniques are supposed to have worked better with weapons, such as small blades, rather than being fully effective on their own.

Koei style Through Kiryu's tutelage, Ryuki learned the Koei Style and its two techniques. [ 17 ] Blink perfectly complements the Gaoh Style, preventing the opponent from predicting its movements, creating ideal conditions for surprise attacks. As a result, thanks to the Koei Style, Ryuki is able to fully utilize the Gaoh Style even in a Kengan match. Ryuki is able to use the Rakshasa Palm and Sole. However, by repeatedly using the Rakshasa Palm and Gaoh Style Armor, he is damaging his joints due to the opposing muscular nature of both techniques.

Long clan style

The original martial arts of the Gaoh Style. Ryuki would learn, learn, and inherit the clan's secret techniques thanks to his grandfather's last book.
