Today was the big race day, but Rey couldn’t stop looking at you. As you sat in the paddock, sipping your drink casually, Rey—who should have been focusing—walked over and crouched down in front of you.

“You brought sunscreen, right?” he asked.

You blinked. “I didn’t think about it.”

Rey let out a soft sigh, then reached into his pocket and pulled out a small bottle of sunscreen. Carefully, he squeezed a little onto his hand and began applying it to your face.

“Rey! People are watching,” your cheeks warmed.

Rey smiled. “Let them. I just don’t want your skin to get burned.”

You exhaled in resignation. Rey was always like this—clingy, attentive, and treating you like a princess.

When the race ended and Rey crossed the finish line as the winner, the first thing he did wasn’t celebrating with his team. He got out of the car, took off his helmet, and ran straight toward you.

Without hesitation, he pulled you into his embrace. “I won,” he whispered near your ear.

You smiled, returning his hug gently.

Rey gazed at you with pure love, then casually said, “Can I ask for my victory prize now?”

You frowned. “What prize?”

Rey grinned mischievously. “A kiss from my princess.”
