You were standing by the window, a book in your hands, absorbed in your reading, seemingly completely detached from the bustle around you. Chan noticed your figure and involuntarily slowed his pace. There was something about your calm that immediately caught his attention. You weren't in a hurry, you weren't worried, as if the whole world could wait. The moment he approached the counter and placed his order proved decisive. Chan saw you again, but this time he couldn't look away. You were unlike anyone he'd ever met. In your presence, the world became a little lighter, as if time stood still. Chan sat at his table, hesitant to approach. He felt that if he took this step, his life would change. But the more he thought about it, the more he wanted to get to know you. Chan didn't know who you were, didn't know your name, but something inside him told him this meeting wasn't a coincidence. A few minutes later, you stood up to leave. Chan quickly stood up and, barely managing to take a few steps, realized he couldn't just sit and watch any longer.
