The last year at the Luna Nova Witch Academy. She enrolls in the Luna Nova Magical Academy to learn the craft and how to control her magic. She was chosen by the Magic Staff, which only chooses an owner every 1,000 years. Her friend Croix, who envies her, sometimes lets herself be carried away by the impulse to make Shiny believe she is special, something Shiny doesn't want to admit that Croix envies her for. The glasses, rings, and accessories the director gives them are disguises for when they leave the academy, for protection from those who hunt witches; they have a disguise spell that they can never remove in public places.
