Night Raid

Teigu were, presumably, created through a long and intricate process. As stated by the Strange Elder, the weapons forged into Teigu must have a Danger Beast's attributes imbued into them, and the raw materials selected can determine the Teigu's strength and its capabilities. The First Emperor who spearheaded the project called forth and hired various artisans, engineers, scientist, alchemists and even mystics in creating the 48 Teigu and, as such, each weapon was, presumably, uniquely constructed in its own unique process due to the sheer number of creators gathered by the Emperor, who also commissioned and tasked his imperial armies with the task of locating and acquiring several rare materials for the weapons' creation. Having successfully had them obtain the hides and corpses of Super and Special class Danger Beasts, such as the dragon Tyrant, and the rare alchemical super steel, Orichalcum. During this time, the First Emperor had also successfully procured the services of the famous smiths of the Wakoku Nation, who thus then used their legendary techniques and immense smithing technology to create the One-Cut Kill Sword: Murasame. Another team of engineers were then able to supposedly create the Teigu, Shambhala by somehow obtaining and learning from the mystics of a now-lost nation to manipulate and control space, an art they then used to create the Imperial Arm. Although unconfirmed, it was stated and implied that a type of magic was used in the Teigu's construction.

Teigu (帝具, lit. "Imperial Arms") are mysterious and extremely powerful relics that exist in the world of Akame Ga Kill!. They are rare and only the strongest of warriors are able to wield them. Some have the appearance of equipment or weapons, while others appear to be living creatures. It is implied that a form of magic was used to create them. The Teigu were created on the instruction of the First Emperor, who feared that the Empire he had founded would eventually fall. To prevent this, he gathered many materials and hired many scientists throughout the world to make strong weapons and defenses. The creation of the Teigu are the result of their efforts. There were 48 Teigu in all, but almost half of them were lost during a civil war about five centuries before the start of the story. Several Teigu have been seen to be destroyed; it is not known how many of the original 48 remain. Many Teigu were created from the remains of Danger Beasts that had unique powers, imbuing them with special abilities. Many weapon and armor-type Teigu were forged from a rare metal called Orichalcum. Teigu are not limited to one ability; some are known to have secret powers that have yet to be discovered, and some have powers that are lost to history.

Infinite Uses: Cross Tail is a Teigu that can be used both offensively and defensively. It takes the form of gloves with metallic fingertips with wire threads running through them, and it can be used in various ways to attack, defend against, or immobilize opponents. The majority of the wire is held in a larger-than-normal spool worn on the back of the waist. It was used by Lubbock, but is now in the hands of the Empire. Abilities: Cross Tail is a very versatile Teigu, most effectively used by someone with creativity. Lubbock often uses the wires to create a perimeter uses to detect enemies who crossed through them. They can also be uses to trap and attack the enemies, be formed into melee weapons such as a spear, or be wrapped around the user's body as armor. The weapons can be disassembled at will, and if a foe is stabbed by the wire spear, it can be unwrapped inside of their bodies to target internal organs, ensuring quick kills. The threads can be easily tied to other objects, such as knives, to control their course in flight when thrown, thus taking the enemy by surprise. It can be used to re-attach the arm of an Animal King: Lionelle user by combining its thread with their regenerative abilities. Lubbock was also shown to be tricky with his Teigu, as he hid string in his mouth even after Cross Tail was confiscated. He used the string to surprise attack Syura and break his neck. Trump Card: Realm-Cutting Thread (界断糸, Sakaidan Ito): Lubbock also uses a stronger type of thread which is the Trump Card of Cross Tail. It is superior to his regular thread, because it originated from the stronger parts of the original Danger Beast's body. It was strong enough to restrain a Grand Chariot user for a small amount of time.

Cutter of Creation: Extase is a Teigu in the shape of a large pair of scissors with a panda bear sticker on its pin. Abilities: Extase is extremely sharp and is said to be able to cut through any material, including the armor Teigu Incursio, which was supposed to be unbreakable. However, it seems that if the material offers resistance against being cut, cutting it becomes harder, as seen in the fight between Sheele and Seryu, whose Tonfa Guns served as shields against Sheele's vicious attacks. It is also very sturdy, allowing its wielder to use it for defense. The Teigu possesses great durability, enough to withstand powerful blows from the organic Teigu, Hekatonkheires. Trump Card: The trump card of Extase emits a blinding light for a short period of time that blinds opponents without obscuring the user's vision. This ability is very useful for distraction. Although its name is actually unknown, Sheele called out the trump card's name while using it.

Phantasmagoria: Gaea Foundation is a Teigu in the form of a cosmetic case that enabled its user to take the appearance of whatever living creature they desired. Abilities: Gaea Foundation enabled its user to turn into any living creature they wished, even animals such as cats with the ability to mimic an animal's natural abilities, such as flight. Gaea Foundation also allows the user to transform into plants, as seen where Chelsea was able to disguise herself as a tree while tailing Cornelia and Guy. It resembled a cosmetic case with cosmetic tools inside. Chelsea used this ability for both reconnaissance and as a disguise to trick opponents, using the latter technique against targets of Night Raid, successfully tricking both long enough to perform a stealthy takedown.

The King Of Beasts Transformation: Lionelle is a belt-shaped Teigu that transformes its wearer into a beast, instantly increasing the wearer instincts, physical strength and abilities. It also amplified the wearer perception and senses. Abilities: The Gravekeepers have applied the same transformation abilities that they use onto Lionelle. When activated, Lionel greatly enhances the user's instincts, senses and perception, and gave them danger beast characteristics, such as lion-like ears, paws and a tail. It also greatly increases their regeneration, physical strength and speed to animalistic levels. The belt granted the ability to locate and track individuals over a long distance. Some personality traits were affected as well, even when Lionelle was not active. Leone marked Tatsumi as her man by licking him, for example. Lionelle fused with its current wielder Leone, making her more animalistic in appearance. She has longer mane like hair, tail, rounded ears, fur covering some areas of her body, her arms and legs, and sported lion-like feet. Trump Card: Regenerator (獅子は死なずリジェネレーター, Rijenerētā): The trump card of Lionelle, which granted its user high-speed regeneration. Its limits are unknown, but Leone was able to heal her removed eye, sliced breast and injuries over time. By combining it with Cross Tail's abilities, the user could reattach their missing body parts, such as arms, legs, etc. The user could also regenerate by eating other animals, as shown in Leone's fight with Dorothea.

Puppets: Wall: A former famous guardsman. He had a shield with a hidden lance in it that could be fired. He was destroyed by Bols' Teigu's self-destruction. Apeman: A special-class Danger Beast that resembled a gorilla and used brute physical strength to destroy its opponents. It was destroyed by Tatsumi. Henter: A former survivor of the Ban Tribe. He had tricky movements and a knife, but was destroyed by Chelsea, who tricked him into believing that she was also a survivor before assassinating him. Unlike the others, he seemed to be able to talk. Death Tagool: A super-class Danger Beast. It seemed to have a destructive breath and was extremely powerful. However, Susanoo managed to destroy it. Kaiser Frog: A large, frog Danger Beast that could control its long tongue. It also had powerful acid in his stomach; however, one of its sides was damaged, causing the acid to leak out, which allowed Mine to survive being swallowed and destroy the frog

March of the Dead: Yatsufusa is a Teigu in the form of a long katana with the power to reanimate and control corpses. Yatsufusa was a blade-type Teigu that was able to control a maximum of eight corpses of those whom it killed. The user could also manipulate the skills and abilities the reanimated corpses had in life. The puppets were known to retain their habits, desires and traces of personality that they had in life, sometimes enabling the user to utilize these to their advantage. However, it could backfire as well, as seen when Chelsea managed to destroy Henter, who hesitated to attack her when she disguised herself as a member of his fellow tribesmen. Additionally, Akame noted that the puppet's condition remained the same as it was upon their death, meaning that the puppets could not learn new things nor improve their physical capabilities beyond those achieved before becoming a puppet. For each puppet the user actively controls, they became weaker. If a puppet was destroyed, it caused the user to release control and regain some of their strength back. Puppets: Natala: Formerly one of Kurome's childhood friends, who used to be in the same assassination group as her. He survived the battle against Night Raid along with Doya. He is later cut down by Akame during her confrontation with Kurome and freed from the Teigu's power after its destruction. Doya: A former assassin from the Northern Tribes that dual-wields pistols. Like Natala, she survived the battle against Night Raid. Her arms got cut off by Enshin and eventually, she had replacements grafted on from another corpse but it caused her to be unable to use her original power. She is later cut down by Akame during her confrontation with Kurome and freed from the Teigu's power after its destruction.

Trump Card: In the manga, Murasame's trump card is activated when the user loses the person who is most important to the wielder. When the trump card is activated, the user's sclerae turn black with black marks appearing around their pupils and a dark aura envelops their body. Red marks also appear all over the user's body and remain as scars once its effect ends. These scars cause the user to feel pain throughout their body continuously, even after Murasame is destroyed. The trump card puts considerable strain on the user's body and only lasts for a short period of time. The trump card is called Small War Horn, once activated, the user gains fearsome strength and speed. In the anime, the trump card is activated by cutting oneself with the sword and resisting the poisonous curse, therefore accepting responsibility for all the lives taken with the weapon. The trump card remains permanently and makes the user's body feel heavy after getting used to it. This is shown when Akame cannot pursue Yomihime for two reasons, her body is heavy and her weapons were broken. The side effect, however, can be suppressed temporarily through herbal medicine that the Elder can provide.

One-Cut Killer: Murasame is a long katana-type Teigu used by Night Raid's Akame. During her battle with Gozuki, Akame steals the Teigu after fatally wounding him and she ends up replacing her Shingu Kiriichimonji (which was destroyed during that battle) with it. It was later destroyed by Esdeath during her final battle with Akame. It is said that the roots of Murasame lay in Wakoku, where the events of Hinowa ga Yuku! transpire. Abilities: Murasame is a cursed blade that can kill a person with a single cut. Once the sword pierces the skin, a poisonous curse will spread through the victim's body, killing them within seconds by stopping their heart. The curse appeared as black markings that originated from the wound and spread across the victim's skin. These markings vanished once the person had died. In the anime, the markings remained permanently on the victim's heart. Akame stated that cleaning Murasame is very dangerous because of its ability, which is why she uses gloves when wielding the blade. However, this ability only worked on living, organic beings that have a heart, rendering it ineffective against Armor and Biological-type Teigu as well as machines and Yatsufusa's corpse dolls. Esdeath showed that it is possible to survive the curse by cutting off the affected body part before it could spread to the rest of the body. However, this must be done quickly, as Esdeath even stopped time to amputate her arm. The curse's black markings remain visible on the amputated body part. A flaw of the blade being that if there are two or more souls inhabiting one body, only one soul can be killed at a time.

Roman Artillery: Pumpkin is a rifle-type Teigu. It has a case with different parts in it, which can be detached and attached to modify Pumpkin. It is wielded by Mine and prior to her, it was used by Najenda. Abilities: Pumpkin uses spiritual energy as its ammunition and fires it in a concentrated shockwave. One of its main properties is that its power and range increased in proportion to the level of danger its user was in. No ammunition was needed to load Pumpkin. It was capable of rapid-fire burst shots of spirit energy and had a detachable, A high-tech scouter in an eyepiece that fits around the user's eye. It also had a sniper scope. It had multiple interchangeable parts, at least seven known parts, that could be used to modify its power: A long barrel for power. A sniper barrel for distance. A machine gun barrel for multi-shot. In long barrel mode, Pumpkin can be used as a lethal melee weapon, as shown when Mine was able to cut down Seryu instead of sniping due to the design that enabled it to be used as a melee weapon as well. Trump Card: High Output Blast Blade (高出力ブラストブレード, Kō Shutsuryoku Burasuto Burēdo): Pumpkin's trump card is a blasting beam so overwhelming that it could act like a giant blade, cutting anything in its path, but only in long barrel mode can it be use to its maximum capabilities. This power was unleashed according to how passionate the emotions of its user were, but it overheated Pumpkin, rendering it unusable for a while. However, Mine was able to keep proper maintenance of Pumpkin, eventually enabling her to use the trump card repeatedly without overheating the Teigu. The reason to why Pumpkin is named "Pumpkin" was is because, the name may be a compound of the English words "Pump" (referencing pump action guns) and "Keen" (due to sniper rifles requiring a keen vision to operate).

Adaptation and Evolution: Incursio's armor also evolved again as Tatsumi and Wave battled the Supreme Teigu. As Tatsumi sensed that he still wasn't strong enough to damage Shikoutazer, he forced the armor to grow once more. This version was bulkier, the helmet was almost identical to Tyrant's head and received a massive boost in power. After the final evolution, Tatsumi was strong enough to destroy Shikoutazer, with momentary help from Wave. However, he lost control multiple times during the battle and only held on due to remembering Bulat and his advice. With this, he managed to gain control of this evolution. Tatsumi's appearance inside the armor changed once more. Scales covered his entire body and his sclera became black. His mouth became dragon-like, possessing sharp and jagged teeth. Tatsumi no longer looked human but reached the pinnacle of his strength. As the Emperor scanned the rebel in the battle, he noted that even the system doesn't recognize Tatsumi as a human being. With this evolution, he was able to destroy Shikoutazer with two hits, the second one piercing through the giant's weakened area. Incursio, however, posed an imminent threat for those users who managed to draw out the second evolution. In order to be revived, the inner Danger Beast started to overpower the user and transformed into its former dragon form with whatever traits the user decided to have.

Adaptation and Evolution: This was shown again in the second battle against Esdeath when Tatsumi pushed the armor to its limits, with assuming a new form. In this form, the armor was more segmented, had a more savage, reptilian-based shape with claws on the gauntlets and feet, as well as a secondary pair of eyes on the helmet and the Neuntote spear was much larger than before. As with this evolution, Tatsumi's speed and strength were even greater and the armor could now resist the effects of Esdeath's Demon's Extract and even its Trump Card: Mahapadma and Budo's lightning-based attacks. However, because Tatsumi forced Incursio to evolve rapidly to increase his strength, Incursio started to manifest in one of Tatsumi's eyes. After being examined by a doctor, he revealed that the armor has started to bond with him. He also stated that after a few years, Tatsumi could use it without overdoing it like Bulat. Now at the risk of being devoured by Incursio, Tatsumi could only transform 3-4 more times before Incursio consumes him. After countless usages of the Teigu, Incursio could only be invoked once more before it assimilates its host completely. With each successive transformation, its user emulated more and more draconian qualities. First, giving Tatsumi half of Tyrant's face and horns only to regress into more moderate facial patterns. Secondly, sprouting horns, scales, claws and reptilian features on his hands. Its ability to evolve only strengthened after it fused to its host. During the battle with the altered Cosmina, Incursio gained an immunity to poison due to the trap Honest had set. After sustaining critical injuries fighting against Shikoutazer in its Purge Mode, the Teigu seemed to have gained a regenerative capability actually mending both the armor and Tatsumi's destroyed anatomy, giving him newfound wings as well.

Demon Armor: Incursio is an Armor-type Teigu that took on the form of a short sword with a chain link tassel in its sealed form. Once released, the user was enveloped in full-body armor. Due to its origins as the Danger Beast Tyrant, Incursio possessed an aptitude for adaptation and evolution. Aside from its standard capabilities, it continued to evolve as the result of battles against several opponents, gaining new forms and abilities as time goes on. Due to being body armor, Incursio had a near-indestructible defense with the only thing able to pierce it being other Teigu. The armor also greatly enhanced the user's physical abilities such as strength, speed, and agility. The users of Incursio were also able to wield a long spear or halberd-like weapon called "Neuntote", which was capable of cutting through Danger Beasts with ease. Trump Card: The armor's trump card was the ability to turn the user invisible for a certain amount of time, depending on the skill of the user. As noted, a weakness of the invisibility was that while it masked the user visually from the naked eye, it did not hide their "presence," allowing skilled opponents to sense the user despite them being invisible. Adaptation and Evolution: Its ability to evolve was also shown on several occasions. Once Tatsumi inherited Incursio, the Teigu went through an evolution in order to adapt to Tatsumi's fighting style and to exceed its previous limitations. The armor that enveloped him was noticeably less bulky than it was previously on Bulat in order to fit Tatsumi's agile form. Tatsumi was able to sense that the armor, after its evolution, had new abilities that he had yet to discover. One example was the ability for Incursio to manifest the head of the Tyrant from any point on the armor to deflect bladed weapons, protecting the user from an otherwise decapitating blow.

Kurome was noted by her superiors in the Assassination Division to have one of the most powerful and innate ability and skill for combat, despite not having finished the survival exam on her own and was deemed to be the most talented member of the secondary unit, the Group of Terror. This assessment is further cemented due to her being given the Kill Rank of No, 8. With her overall skills only being eclipsed by her older sister and the rest of the Elite Seven. Like her sister, for some unexplained reason, Kurome seems to be able to consume large amounts of food without any adverse effects on her body. No matter how much she eats, she is somehow able to metabolize all the food she ate without becoming full or even remotely fat, quite possibly due to her high metabolism. Teigu - Swordsmanship: Kurome wields an offensive Teigu like her sister, in the form of a sword named "March of the Dead: Yatsufusa", which allowed her to enslave up to eight enemies killed with the Teigu. However, the corpses did not show any emotion. Kurome is extremely skilled in the art of the sword and of assassination. She possesses superhuman reflexes, being capable of dodging Mine's long range sniper fire with only a moment's notice, as well as superhuman endurance, able to survive a fatal wound to the back of her neck. However, both of these extraordinary feats were due to the drugs that Kurome had taken. Kurome states that the only reliable way to kill her is to either crush her heart or decapitate her. She was even able to land a hit on Esdeath. Kurome's abilities are not solely due to natural training, but through doping and continued drug use.

Although she shares some traits with her sister, such as her social awkwardness and big appetite, Kurome is much more aloof and seems to show darker sides of her personality when it comes to killing her enemies. She is cold and ruthless in battle, usually ending the lives of her enemies as one would expect from a seasoned assassin.

Secretly, she is very scared of being seen as weak, knowing that, in the Assassination Division, if she became dead weight, she'd be taken out to keep her silent. This had a lingering effect of her upbringing, as she almost did suffer this fate, were it not for the drug therapy she later underwent. She also seemed to play with the corpses of those she has killed, as well as keeping powerful ones to use in her permanent collection, which is limited to eight.

Black. Hair color: Black. Blood type: A. Her measurements are 80-51-81. Height is 160 cm (5'3"). Weight is 43 kg (94.8 lb). Gender is Female. Age 14. Kurome looks very similar to her sister. She has short, black hair in a twintail style and black eyes. She wears a black sailor uniform and wears a red belt that has a red side skirt cover like Akame's, with long, black socks and shoes. Her shirt is slightly too short as it doesn't cover her belly button. She also wears red gauntlets like Akame. She keeps her Teigu with her at all times.

Leadership: Najenda is calm and collective, being able to adjust herself to differing situations and giving out orders by adapting to the current situation. She is also able to rally Revolutionary Troops that were attacking the capital, enabling them to hold the line before Night Raid defeated Esdeath and the Emperor. Esdeath state that Najenda always lead her troops and fight with calm and burning heart, knowing her capabilities as a former fellow General of the Empire. Teigu: Before Najenda defected from Empire, she wielded the Teigu, Pumpkin and showcased sharpshooting and sniping skills. This is seen where she had used Pumpkin in an attempt to defend herself from Esdeath during her defection. Later after her defection, Najenda herself continued to use Pumpkin as her weapon of choice, albeit its been implied that her skill with it had dropped due to her injuries and missing arm and eye, despite that Najenda herself still showcased enough ability to make use of the weapon to provide Bulat with cover fire during his fight against Akame upon first meeting her and nearly shot her down in their duel. Later, she would became the master to the humanoid Teigu, Susanoo, up until his demise. Until her arrival at HQ, Susanoo was in a state of dormancy and began to react to her presence. Susanoo told the members of Night Raid that it was because Najenda resembled his previous master, who was a great general. Due to Susanoo being able to fight on his own, Najenda has shown to primarily fight with him by providing him with support, such as providing him with her own energy in order to activate his Trump Card.

Physical Abilities: Najenda's full strength happen to have mostly unknown, but Najenda herself has commented that due to the injuries that Esdeath inflicted on her, she is only at 40% her original strength. This may have also rendered her unsuitable to handle her old Teigu, Pumpkin, to it’s fullest power, leading her to pass it on to Mine. She is still, however, a capable fighter, being able to use her prosthetic hand to generate momentum for her kicks and punches that can rip a head off in one blow. She once demonstrated on Leone her ability to fire her prosthetic hand and reel it back in. Furthemore , Najenda is seen battles, and goes toe-to-toe with the corpse puppet General Rokugou , and manages to kicking his head off, and later destroying his insides with strong blows due to her anger, despite being weakened due to her injuries and missing arm and eye. Physically, she is strong enough to hold the Teigu Belvaac with one arm, which is quite heavy. Additionally, Najenda has shown to have strong life-forces, and tremendous vitality, as she endures lost an eye and her left arm at the hands of Esdeath, and remains, and stay alive, in addition to being seen using the Magatama Manifestation, which drains the user's life-force to activates its. Although she mentions that she has lost several years of life by activating the Magatama manifestation a third time, although incomplete, she still capable of remains, and stay standing straight, and keeps living. Reel Assault (リールアサルト Rīruasaruto): She fires her prosthetic hand, reels herself to the arm, and quickly delivers a kick.

Najenda is taciturn, sharp-minded and level-headed, she leads the group with a surprisingly gentle-but-firm air. Her years of experience serving in the Empire as a General have made her a highly capable leader. Najenda is sometimes mistaken for a man due to her boyish appearance, even sometimes being nicknamed "The Hunk of the Rebellion" by her cohorts. She tends to have a habit of telling "cold jokes" and making bad puns.

Age: Mid 20s. Gender: Female. Height: 172cm(5'8"). Eye color: Light Purple. Hair color: Silver. Blood type: A. Najenda's measurements are 85-58-86. Najenda is a woman with short, silver hair and purple eyes. She wears an eyepatch where her right eye used to be. She wears a black suit that shows her cleavage. She has a green and black mechanical right arm. When she was younger, her hair was longer and she wore it tied and braided.

Susanoo is a biological Teigu, and the first one shown in the form of a human being. Because of his nature as a Teigu, he is able to regenerate injuries as long as his core was intact. He also seemed to be immune to poisons and toxins that would kill ordinary warriors. He wields a stave-like weapon called Wolf Fang Mace with blades protruding from it and is extremely proficient in battle. He is also very adept at housework and cooking, assisting Akame in the daily chores at Night Raid's HQ. Trump Card: Magatama Manifestation (禍魂顕現, Magatama Kengen, literally translated as "Evil Soul Manifestation"): Susanoo absorbs his user's life energy into the magatama on his chest in order to access a more powerful, armored form. While under the effects of Magatama Manifestation, his hair whitens, his horns turn black, and a disc appears on his back. Because Susanoo's user needs to give him some of their life force in order to use his Trump Card, they will die if they command him to use it three times. He has several different abilities that only become usable in conjunction with his trump card. Yata no Kagami (八咫鏡, Yata no Kagami, literally translated as "Eight Span Mirror"): Susanoo uses the floating disk on his back to create a mirror which can reflect any kind of projectiles. Ame no Murakumo (天叢雲剣, Ame no Murakumo, literally meaning "Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven"): Susanoo generates a very long, transparent sword from the energy stored in the magatama. The sword has immense power, being capable of cutting Esdeath's multiple-layered ice wall with ease. Yasakani no Magatama (八尺瓊勾玉, Yasakani no Magatama, literally translated as "Eight Shaku Curved Jewel"): Susanoo temporarily increases his speed and physical strength.

Susanoo is a perfectionist who always noticed flaws in the others' appearance, even in the heat of a battle, as seen when he pointed out Desta-Ghoul's asymmetrical bones while fighting it. He always tried to fix such imperfections whenever he could, as seen with Tatsumi's shirt and Mine's hair. He is also quite straightforward and, while respectful towards his allies, had little understanding of human concepts, such as friendship; however, he was eventually able to develop bonds with his fellow Night Raid members.

The Speed of Lightning: Susanoo (or just Susanoo) is one of the new members of Night Raid that Najenda brought back from the Revolutionary Army HQ. He is an adept fighter and quite resilient to damage due to his status as a humanoid Teigu. He also served as Night Raid's housekeeper and aided Akame in Night Raid's daily chores as well as training with Tatsumi. Age: Approx - 1000. Gender: Male. Height: 220cm(7'3"). Eye color: Blue. Hair color: Blue. Susanoo has apricot skin, blue hair and eyes. He is very tall and appeared to be in his early 20s. His nost notable features were the two bison-like horns protruding out of the sides of his head. He was always seen wearing a white, red and black robe.

Sheele wields a Teigu in the form of a giant pair of scissors called Cutter of Creation: Extase, which is said to be able to cut through anything. She can use its trump card to make her Teigu shine a blinding light. Sheele is extremely agile, quick and powerful when using her Teigu, as seen where am enemy noted on her slash and thrusts speed and strength as being heavy. Sheele herself is shown to also posses immense reflexes and reaction speed, having been shown to easily deflect Imperial Soldier's shots using her hidden guns. She has also shown to be very ruthless in battle, due to her unique mindset and a natural talent for killing. She could think straight in a deathly battle and kill enemies without remorse while having a clear mind.

Sheele is an airhead, often losing her glasses or failing at any chores she tried to do due to her clumsiness; however, she is very kind and caring to her friends, willing to sacrifice her life for them, as seen with Mine. However, her attitude changed completely when she killed, becoming cold and impassive; she described it as having "a screw loose" in her mind, which made her a talented killer. She believed that getting rid of "society's trash" was the only thing she could do well, and therefore couldn't be considered useless. She is shown to apologize to those she kills, often as a force of habit.

Sheele is a beautiful and slender-yet-curvaceous young woman with long, purple hair and eyes. She usually wears a revealing, sleeveless lilac cheongsam with detached lilac arm sleeves and white boots. She usually has her Teigu with her. She wears glasses and has a scar on her right cheek. During her earlier appearances, she wore a hat.

Chelsea possesses a Teigu named "Gaea Foundation" that allowed her to change her appearance at will; she even used this ability to trick Mine, appearing as a Marg Panther cub and stealing her food. She also tricks Tatsumi, by disguising herself as Susanoo while he sneaked up on her taking bath using Incursio. While her Teigu is a support type, Najenda has stated that she had gotten as many jobs and assassinations as Akame, suggesting that Chelsea was quite skilled in combat (or at least assassination). Other Abilities: She mainly used stealth in battles, waiting for her enemy to get close before killing them in a single hit by using needles. Its was notes that upon been injured near fatally by her, and recovering, Kurome was noted to have been severely weakened and her body no longer having the same physical strength it once had despite doping up, shows Chelsea's expertise at assassination with needles. She excelled at deception to trick people into letting their guard down.

In the past, Chelsea aimed to have a normal and peaceful life as a member of the upper class, and to achieve this she began to deceive and satisfy people to reach her goal. However, under the cruelty of her viceroy, who took joy out of hunting people, she began to become nihilistic, until she found Gaea Foundation, which had been stored away because no suitable owner could be found, and uses its to kills her employer, who was replaced with a kind and competent one. Realizing that she had caused a change with her Teigu, came to the conclusion that from then on she would be in charge of changing the world for the good of the people. Chelsea has a mischievous personality, but this may have been an act. She had a cold, calculating side which can often lead to her making a blunt (but accurate) analysis of a person or situation. In the end, she is shown to have good intentions and tries to help the Night Raid members to become more realistic, as she is shown to deeply care for them and didn't want to lose them like she lost her old team. She is shown to have a love for lollipops, as her Teigu was often filled with them, and she was usually shown having one in her mouth.

Chelsea is a attractive young woman of short height and slim build with pale skin, long light red hair, and pink eyes. She wears black and white headphone with a pink butterfly printed in the front on her headphones. She wears vocalist-like clothing consisting of a white, long-sleeve white shirt with the collar tied with a red ribbon under a black vest, a red checkered miniskirt, and black leather below-the-knee boots. She carries her Teigu, Gaea Foundation, wherever she went. She was almost always seen sucking on a pink lollipop.

Leone possesses a Teigu in the form of a belt, named Lionel. When activated, it enhanced her speed, reflexes, strength and regeneration, as well as giving her animal-like characteristics. She was also a skilled spy and manipulator, occasionally using her skills to swindle people out of their money, as seen with Tatsumi. Leone was also a very skilled hand-to-hand combatant, using such skills to fight her enemies, and has managed to fight even the most skilled enemies on even ground, although she usually killed them rather quickly. She stated herself that she preferred sneak attacks to kill her enemies before they could react. Considering this and the fact that she was shown to infiltrate different areas on multiple occasions, it was implied she was incredibly skillful at stealth. She is a valuable member of Night Raid and had shown to be quite powerful. She was able to kill three men with a single kick as well as killing a large Danger-Beast with a single blow. Once using Lionelle's transformation, it was shown that Leone became a deadly fighter. She was shown to easily keep up with Tatsumi while he used Incursio's armor, as they killed several Danger Beasts together as a training method. Lionel has enhanced Leone to inhuman durability, during a fight with General Budo where she was struck down with powerful thunderbolts, she was able to move after a few moments. Also, she seemed to have a sixth sense, being aware of danger beforehand, as shown when Night Raid was attacked by Dr. Stylish. An assassin had used a sneak attack on her, attempting to kill her with a knife before she could react, but she was able to catch the knife in her mouth instead. Lionelle also gave Leone an impressive regenerative ability. During her battles, Leone had lost both an arm and one of her breasts but was able to regenerate them. However, the regeneration is not instant, and takes a very long time to finish.

Shehas a very relaxed, upbeat, and cheerful personality, and tends to display a lack of lady-like manners, often seen shoving Tatsumi into her breasts, putting her feet on the table, or consuming large amounts of sake and other alcoholic drinks. She serves as a sort of big sister figure to Tatsumi and the younger members in Night Raid, often referring to herself as "Onee-san" or "Big Sis". Despite the morally-dodgy nature that she sometimes displayed, Leone is not one to tolerate injustice, and can be especially vicious to those who commit the vilest of acts. She also enjoyed fighting her enemies a lot, as said by Najenda, who told her that she needed to change that habit.

She has short blonde hair with two long tufts that framed the sides of her head and golden eyes. She wears a revealing outfit with a black tube top, detachable sleeves with what looked like gold bands, pants, boots and a scarf around her neck. When she transformed, her hair becomes longer and she gains lion-like ears, a tail and claws. When her teigu, Lionel, fused with her, her hair becomes longer, and ears a bit bigger, she also sports out lionlike feet and many areas of her body are covered with fur, overall having a more beast-like appearance.

Teigu(Imperial Arms): Lubbock uses a wire Teigu named "Infinite Uses: Cross Tail", which is very powerful and has many uses, including offensive and defensive techniques. He is very resourceful and a great tactician who tended to plan several moves ahead of his enemies and would adapt well to a given situation even as it changes, such as when he alone killed two of the Four Rakshasa Demons, a group noted for killing Teigu users themselves, or when he killed Syura with threads he hid in his mouth after he was captured and his Teigu taken from him. He is known to be good at tricking enemies and distracting them; he claims his ultimate technique was his ability to play dead, which he has used multiple times to ambush or escape enemies. Other Abilities: Despite mostly relying on tricks in order to defeat enemies with physical advantage in size and strength, Lubbock is also proficient at hand-to-hand combat, able to dismantle an Empire guard. Lubbock is extremely skilled in faking death as well.

Lubbock is known as an easy-going individual who tended to be a pervert from time to time, including trying to peep on Leone while she was bathing. Despite this, he is careful not to let this get in the way of battle when fighting females. His playful and optimistic nature showed even during fights, and he would often tease his enemies and brag about his abilities. However, he is not too arrogant and was always ready to flee if he had too much of a disadvantage in battle. He is incredibly loyal to Night Raid, as he refused to betray them, even after being tortured by Syura, claiming that his love for Najenda helped him withstand any pain.

Age: 18. Gender: Male. Height: 165cm(5'5"). Eye color: Green. Hair color: Green. Blood type: AB. Lubbock is a young man with shoulder-length green hair that covers his left eye, green eyes and red goggles on top of his head. He wears a long, green jacket with a fur-trimmed hood over a white and red ringer shirt and blue jeans with brown shoes. He was occasionally seen wearing a long, black coat. When in battle, he wears his Teigu (Cross Tail) on his hands.

Mine wielded a powerful Teigu in the form of a rifle called Roman Artillery: Pumpkin, capable of shooting in three modes: sniper, machine gun and long barrel. In contrast to normal bullets, the relic fired highly concentrated piercing shots of spirit energy, wherein the output is proportional to the user's feeling of danger; however, if used without care, with continuous usage it can overheat. Each firing mode is affected by whatever components are switched out with one another; one component allowed her to slash with spirit energy, whereas another allowed Mine to fire quicker shots in succession but this considerably lowers her attack power, influencing the machine gun mode. Mine's proficiency in its use allowed her to strike any target with extreme precision. An eyepiece is stored in a compartment inside Pumpkin, and when used, allows Mine to scout and snipe from a distance. She also appears to be quite adept in hand to hand combat, as she was seen sparring with Akame. Her major weakness is that she leaves her back vulnerable to attacks, often spurring her other teammates to protect her last-minute; though she uses this to her advantage while using Pumpkin. This is first seen when she and Sheele are teamed up in a raid to exterminate a band of assassins.

Often quick to anger, and easily irritated with those that she does not know well, Mine is depicted with a cold, temperamental, and considerably aggressive personality. During his first days in Night Raid, Mine had a tendency to tease Tatsumi, due to him being the newest member, and often saying he wouldn't last. Despite her cold exterior, she has shown to be warm and kind to those she has opened up to. She shows her compassionate side on one occasion by teasing Tatsumi to get his mind off of the death of Susanoo. Over time, she develops romantic feelings for Tatsumi, who returns the same feelings, and the two having officially entered an intimate relationship. Since having begun to date Tatsumi, she has shown a jealous side, such as getting angry over Leone's usual flirty advances into Tatsumi, as well as lecturing him how he has to refuse such advances firmly as he now has a girlfriend. At the same time, she has demonstrated being very worried about Tatsumi's well-being, especially when he has not returned to the hideout (due to having been imprisoned) contemplating how she would have never thought she would become so anxious due to lack of contact with someone. Mine wants for there to be no racial discrimination, due to the fact because she is of half-foreign blood descent, which led her to be targeted by others as a kid.

She has very long, pink hair tied in twin-tails on the right and left sides of her head, although, on occasion, it is worn down. She has big, pink eyes. She wears a pink outfit, consisting of a tied shawl with a high collar, a pink, long-sleeved shirt, a gown and black stockings with pink shoes.

Tatsumi gives off a kind, generous, level-headed and friendly vibe. He was shown to be a bit arrogant and naïve in the early chapters, when in his first appearance he believed he could be given an immediate rank of Captain in the armed forces. He displays great displeasure of killing unless provoked as shown from finding his friends tortured to death. He shows great admiration for Bulat, though he doesn't agree to Bulat's displays of affection. Overall, he displays great comradeship and great promise of being a skilled fighter. Close to the start of the manga, his affection spreads even to his enemies, giving him a liability. However, with experience, he has learned to show affection for his friends, but none to his enemies. He is capable of great rage when provoked by his enemies, making him a formidable opponent. His personality alters slightly as he merges further with his Teigu. While donning the final evolution of Incursio's armor, Tatsumi roars at the sky and momentarily acts in a savage manner. Even Tatsumi himself states that he can sense his mind slipping, becoming something else. And through remembering Bulat allowed Tatsumi to remain the same person until Shikoutazer's defeat, once the battle was over, Tatsumi was finally consumed by Incursio and his body became its new host. Once consumed, he took on all personality traits of Tyrant, but returned to his normal self once Akame had killed the dragon's soul. Despite now possessing a Danger Beast's body, his mind remains intact.

Age: 16. Gender: Male. Height: 165cm(5'5"). Eye color: Green(Left Eye), Red(Right Eye), Both eyes encompassed by Incursio's. Hair color: Brown. Birthday: February 29. Blood type: O. Tatsumi is a young man of average height with green eyes and medium length brown hair with a cowlick that falls with its weight. He used to wear a white, high collar jacket over a tan sweater vest, a pair of black pants, brown gloves and combat boots, but later changes his outfit and now has a more traditional white assassin jacket over a slim purple hoodie and a black base layer shirt with black jeans. On his back, he carries Incursio's key, a short sword with a chain-link tassel at the hilt, in its sheath. Having been trained in the way of the sword and hand-to-hand combat since he was young, Tatsumi has had a fairly lean, muscular physique. After training for one month while the Night Raid base was being relocated, he seems to have bulked up enough for Esdeath to notice and comment upon the change. Upon activating his Teigu, Tatsumi is covered in armor similar to the one of which his late teacher used to wear. Tatsumi's armor is far lighter to suit his fighting style, although the long cape has not changed. After Incursio evolved to grant Tatsumi greater power, the armor has now slimmed down to a more streamlined aerodynamic, sporting longer horns, four eyes reminiscent to Tyrant with hooked claws on its fingers and toes while finally losing the long coat and replacing it with two long, black tassels with fuzzed ends dangling off them.

Akame was trained by both Gozuki and Grand General Budo during her time as an Assassin within the Empire in Hand-to-Hand physical combat and later received further training under Leone and Bulat that further reinforced her skill level. This has made Akame incredibly dangerous and lethal even without Murasame and has shown to easily kill several enemy combatants without the need of a weapon. Akame's own strength gives her the power of being completely skilled in combat. Her punches and kicks are extremely powerful and are enough to take down and slay numerous enemies, even highly skilled and powerful enemies with incredible ease. Akame carried the Teigu, One-Cut Killer: Murasame, a katana known for being coated in an immensely deadly poison that could kill those cut by it within seconds, as the poison itself had no antidote. The Teigu's Trump Card, the ability to strengthen its user with the power of its poisonous curse for a short amount of time, was revealed during the final battles against the empire. It is revealed near the end of the manga that Murasame's poison could only target one life at a time; using this to her advantage, she killed Tyrant without hurting Tatsumi.

Akame appears to be a very serious and cold-hearted person which stems from her hellish training that the Empire forced her and her sister through, but it is eventually revealed that she is just socially awkward. She cares about her comrades very much and she is always worried that one of them may not make it out alive due to her first-hand experience that war always has a high mortality rate. After Tatsumi fought Ogre, she stripped him of his clothes to check his body for wounds and Akame rushes to Mt. Kageboshi to aid Hinata who was about to be killed by Yomihime. She also tends to hide her emotions when it is revealed that a comrade dies, such as seen with Sheele, making Tatsumi mistakenly and incorrectly assume that she deals with it easily, because she is used to it. However, this prompts her to break into tears saying that she can never be fine when she loses a friend, for it is the most horrible thing of which anyone can experience. She is then comforted by Tatsumi who resolves to not die and never let her experience such pain again, making her smile. Upon facing her enemies, however, she shows absolutely no mercy towards them shouting words such as "eliminate" and "consign" to show the lack of mercy she has and also to strengthen her resolve to kill them. After donning Murasame's curse, she barely said such words. Akame loves to eat and is surprisingly known to be a big eater (she usually prefers meat from Danger Beasts and fish), much like her sister Kurome. She is passionate about food to the point that Sheele noted how the "usually cool" Akame turned mad when she had burned some meat. Additionally, she is usually in charge of cooking the base's meals.

Akame appears to be attractive young woman of slim build and average height with red eyes. Her hair is long and black and reaches down to her knees. She wears a dark sleeveless top with a white collar and a red tie; she wears a red belt that has a red side skirt cover over a black, pleated skirt. She wears it with long black socks and black shoes. She also wears red gauntlets and black gloves. She sometimes wears a long dark coat in battle. She is often seen carrying her Teigu, Murasame. After activating Murasame's trump card, she has faded red scars all over her body. As a child, when she was in the Elite Seven, she wore a white jumpsuit with red stripes which had no sleeves and had a miniskirt that is tied to a red belt which had a feather accessory.
