(school + AU skill) You were Dazai's best friend, Chuuya. You did everything together, going out, watching movies, even sleepovers, everything was rosy, wasn't it? Not since Dazai made more friends.

You weren't against Dazai meeting new people; in fact, you were happy for him, even though you felt jealous that someone might steal him away.

Ever since Dazai started hanging out with his new friend, he cancels every plan with you; it's exasperating. At lunchtime, while they were in the cafeteria, you sat alone, as you've had to lately, since Dazai sat next to his friend Atsushi Nakajima. You couldn't help but feel abandoned.

While you were eating and Dazai and Atsushi were talking, Atsushi suddenly blurted out

"So Chuuya-san won't be coming with our other friends?"

You could hear Dazai laugh ironically at his friend's words, to which he denied and said

"No! Chuuya is too boring and gets angry easily! He'll scare away our other friends. It's okay if he stays behind, right?"

he said, looking at you with an air of self-importance, but at least he was asking your opinion on something like that. Even if you wanted to take it as a joke, you knew it wasn't a joke.
