history of this world 1
The Age of Dragons was a time when the Earth Terrarium was defended by dragons from all sorts of threats. But their power was tested when the Earth Terrarium was attacked by a being from the depths of distant stars, known to us as the Moon Lord. The dragons attacked him in an attempt to protect their land, but despite their numerical superiority, a large part of the dragon race died. The King of the Dragons, Zaros, was also seriously wounded—it seemed his power and life would be lost forever.
After some time, as the dragons slowly faded, an unknown monk visited Zaros. No one knows what truly happened, but the death of the Dragon King was swift. The monk swallowed the auric soul of the dragon and was enveloped by primordial light. Then, he declared himself "Bakc Serac" and became the first god of the world Terrarium. What followed was an oath to preserve the dragons' power in tombs so they could return.
But Bakc Serac became a traitor—Malova. The ascension of auric souls quickly became a coveted prize, and soon, everyone sought to claim a dragon's soul to become a god. Dragons began dying en masse from genocide at the hands of Terrarium's inhabitants. By the end of the Dragon Era, new creatures emerged—Wyverns, Basilisks, and other twisted forms of dragons.
history of this world 2
To this day, the inhabitants of Terrarium cannot fully understand the origins of these creatures. However, it is known that some, like the Ferrol Pseudo-Dragons and Snakes of Zlobin, are direct descendants of auric dragons. Because of their kinship, they too were subjected to mass killings. The dragons fell to genocide, and thus began the Divine Era.
Some tried to restore the Dawn of the Dragons, but their efforts turned to ashes in the wind. The only known representative of the auric dragons was Iron Felix, whose ability was to be reborn endlessly. When hunters killed him, they did not realize he would return.
Then came the main antagonist of this era—Erim. Unlike the old legends, his exact origin is unknown. At one point, he was ordered to absorb power from an egg to rule as a god-king, but he refused, declaring, "The fate of the weak is not mine to command." For this treason, he was sentenced to death and cast into the depths of hell.
Yet, Erim was revived and swore revenge against the gods. He sought justice, starting with the first two gods. With Rome (another mysterious figure), he waged war, though little is known of their early actions except that they made a grave error—allowing the spread of a corrupting force after killing a god.
history of this world 3
This corruption spawned the Purple Robe, a being of malice. Quoting Rome: "After killing the first god, I closed my eyes to how the viciousness surged from their broken form, digging into the core of Terraria." These corrupted biomes proved that the ancient gods were beyond redemption.
Erim began his crusade, not relying solely on his own strength. His main allies were:
Erim also created the Mechanical Trio—Shredder, Tron Prime, and the Twins—to bolster his forces. But his ambitions waned as the war dragged on for decades.
The turning point came with the Devourer of Gods, a monstrous worm capable of consuming divine essence. Erim, desperate, allied with it, only to later regret his choice. The Devourer was revealed to be a creation of the Distortion, a realm seeking to erase Terrarium.
Meanwhile, Radon’s experiments with enslaving jungle plagues caused Erim to cut ties with him. Frost also left, disillusioned. In the end, Erim’s army dwindled to just machines and hollow souls. And then… the Terrarian (the player) arrived.
calamites
Appearance:
Clothing: Kalamitas wears a long, dark, flowing robe with scarlet and gold patterns, reminiscent of an archmage's mantle. Her outfit is decorated with mystical symbols associated with curses and chaos.
Hair: Long, dark (often depicted as black or dark purple), sometimes with red strands fluttering as if in an invisible stream of magical energy.
Eyes: Luminous, usually blood-red or golden, highlighting her supernatural nature.
Aura: Surrounded by dark energy, sparks of magic and sometimes silhouettes of skulls or shadows, which emphasizes its connection with necromancy and destruction. Weapon: She is often depicted with a magic staff or an ancient artifact that enhances her abilities.Character:
Vengeful and proud: Kalamitas is obsessed with revenge and power, considering herself superior to other beings. She despises weakness and does not tolerate betrayal.
Cold and calculating: Unlike her chaotic brother (Calus), she acts methodically, using intelligence and magic rather than brute force.
Tragic: Her past is connected with loss and betrayal, which made her cruel, but somewhere deep there is a shadow of the former personality that she suppressed.
Arrogant: Considers herself the pinnacle of magical art and often humiliates opponents before destroying them.Calamitas is one of the key antagonists in the Calamity Mod for Terraria. Her appearance and character create the image of a powerful and gloomy sorceress, imbued with dark magic and a thirst for destruction.
Connections with other
characters: Calus is her brother, with whom she has a complicated, hostile relationship.
Dragonfol is her loyal servant, demonstrating her influence on other creatures. For her, the player is just an obstacle on the way to absolute power.
Bottom line:
calamitas is a charismatic and dangerous antagonist who combines the elegance of a dark enchantress with the ruthlessness of a lady of destruction.
Half
The appearance of Yarim:
Yarim is a tall, powerful warrior in gilded armor with blood-red inserts. His helmet hides his face, leaving only glowing eyes. A dragonskin cloak billows behind him, and his weapon (often a sword or an axe) emits a menacing glow. His armor is decorated with symbols of power, and an aura of tyranny surrounds him.
Personality:
A cruel, domineering and ruthless conqueror. Yarim is obsessed with the idea of absolute domination, for which he is ready to destroy entire nations. Cold, calculating, but not devoid of charisma — his fanatical followers see him as the messiah. I am deeply convinced that I am right, considering weakness to be the greatest sin. He does not tolerate betrayal, is vindictive and merciless towards his enemies.
Yaron
Yarim's Attitude towards other Calamity Mod characters:
To the Dragon Yharon:
He considers him not just a pet, but a loyal ally and a weapon of mass destruction. Their bond runs deep — Yarim raised Yharon from a baby bird, and the dragon responds to him with fanatical devotion. However, deep down, Yarim sees in him only a tool, ready to sacrifice him for the sake of victory.
To The Seer (The Profaned Goddess):
Treats them with careful respect, but does not trust them. He sees her as a threat because of her divine nature and independence. If it wasn't for her strength, he would have destroyed her long ago as a possible opponent.
Towards Calamitas:
Feels a mixture of contempt and hidden rage. He once saw her as a student, but after her betrayal, he considers her weak and unworthy. However, he recognizes her power and fears her wrath, so he would willingly destroy her if possible.
To the Player:
At first he perceives him as a nonentity, but after a series of defeats of his armies, he begins to see him as a threat. If the player defeats his lieutenants, Yarim switches from ridicule to cold rage, considering such resistance a personal insult.
To His Subjects:
Treats them as consumables. Soldiers, cultists, even his closest generals are just pawns in his great war. Betrayal is punished with a painful death, but loyalty rewards sparingly — only with the opportunity to die for his cause.
To the Gods and Ancient Beings:
He hates them, considering them hypocrites, unworthy of power. He dreams of overthrowing all those who stand above him, especially such creatures as the Supreme Swamp God (Supreme Witch, Calamitas) or the Solar Deity (Solar Deus). In his eyes, only he is worthy of ruling the world.
Bottom line: Yarim is a tyrant for whom everything around him is either tools or enemies. He does not know compassion, and considers any manifestation of mercy to be weakness. The only thing he respects is strength, but even that he seeks to break and subdue.
