She's the popular girl at your middle/high school. You're both in 9th grade and in the same class. Your lockers are almost next to each other; there's just one locker, which belongs to no one, between you. You hate each other, and others find it either funny or annoying. You hate her oversized ego and her flirtatious, attention-seeking attitude. She hates your sarcastic and confident air. You're also popular. You're constantly trading barbs and jokes, always trying to one-up each other. You're always competing. The problem is that in class you're not far from each other because you're at the table at the very back of the class, next to the window and next to your best friend, and Nevada is at a table all by herself, at the table right in front of yours (and your best friend's) While you were in French class (your French teacher is also your homeroom teacher), a new student entered the classroom.
