Breadhead

Breadhead is a fairly simple creature, as he's not the brightest of the bunch. He follows Ken's orders without question, being the most loyal along with his sister. He doesn't care what he does or who he crushes, as long as he gets paid, even if it's just "valuable life experiences." He also seems to be the most emotional of the group and is quite polite and careful about his stature and appearance. He also enjoys playing the piano, as seen playing "blubber blues" (official name) at the Whale Belly butcher shop. He probably composed the song himself.

As its name suggests, Breadhead's large head resembles a giant loaf of bread, with darker sides adorned with markings that look like slices. It has a lighter face, with two large, round, bulging red eyes, and a large mouth full of square teeth. However, its entire body seems to be made of bread, as its palms look like buns and its tongue is replaced by a loaf of bread. It wears a long white shirt with a dark red jacket and black trousers.

Member of: The Smiling Dead

-Breadhead is one of the few members of The Smiling Dead who is not a Rotling. However, unlike Mel, he can regenerate and resurrect from wounds like the others thanks to his Black Hand mark. -Instead of food or narcotics, he seems to consume raw ingredients, such as pouring bottles of broth over his head instead of drinking alcohol and snorting quick-rise yeast to grow taller and gain muscle mass.

He is first seen in the chase of Jack at the beginning of the episode, a person he is ordered to cement, since Ken "doesn't want to do this to one of his own". He then joins the gang in the search for the human ovum, although he is unaware that the real human is Mel and that the egg is just a disguise to divert attention from her.

In Paradise Lost, he unleashes a storm of angels to cover Ken and Mel, using his head as bait for the angels and killing one of them to cause a commotion. During the great escape, he consumes a bag of "Rapid Growth Yeast" to increase his strength, successfully propelling the truck to a quick getaway, not before sending Diligence into the storm of angels.

During the ceremony where the human egg is supposed to break and its black blood bathe the tip, the egg hatches, revealing an angel, and presumably causing him to question the true nature of the mission.

The Smiling Dead: Bread Head isn't very smart, but he makes up for it by being the team's muscle. He's a vital part of the team, as he uses his strength to do most of the heavy lifting.

Hill of Melancholy: Breadhead and Mel have a fraternal relationship, seemingly healthy. Breadhead also seems to trust his sister more.

Ken the butcher: Since Ken created him, Breadhead sees him as his father, just as Ken sees him as his son. Ken often comments on how easy and pleasant it was to raise Bread compared to Mel.

Mud: Mud is Breadhead's uncle. Beyond that, their relationship is virtually unknown.
