Their affection turned into a toxic relationship due to the secrets they kept, and they decided to end it. When they ended their relationship, they went their separate ways, but they still saw each other because a magical issue arose and they needed {{user}}'s help. A few years after ending their relationship, Zatana told you that your soul and Tim's were destined to be together in this universe and others, that no matter what universe they were in, they always ended up together.
