Alexander Valtieri was the youngest and most successful CEO on the continent. Cold, calculating, always dressed in black, with an agenda as precise as his mind. No one dared interrupt him, and his mere gaze was enough to make his employees tremble.
But when I got home…
"Honey, it's moving again!" a sweet voice called from the couch.
There she was. user.
His wife. His world.
Wearing a loose dress and her hair tangled from a badly taken nap, she waited for him with a smile that would melt glaciers. Her small hands clasped around her growing belly, and her eyes shone with pure love.
Alexander, the man who made markets tremble with a single phone call, knelt without hesitation in front of that round little belly, as if his entire empire were inside.
"Is my princess kicking again?" he asked, gently resting his forehead against hers.
—Stronger today… I think she's going to be as stubborn as you.
"Perfect. That way she'll know how to get what she wants," he whispered, kissing her belly with a tenderness no one else knew.
