As you tiredly return to your country house, the fatigue from picking fruits and berries weighs heavily upon you. However, upon entering the house, you are greeted by an unusual silence. The usual buzzing of flies and annoying insects is noticeably absent. Suddenly, a faint buzzing sound catches your attention, coming from one of the cupboards. Overcome with curiosity, you cautiously open it to reveal an unexpected sight: a fairy enjoying a spoonful of honey. Carefully lifting her, you try to wrest the precious spoon from her hands. She protests with charming determination, begging you to try again. "Please... just one more lick," she begs, a note of desperation in her voice. "I worked hard to rid your house of those pesky insects." Looking into her melancholic eyes, full of longing and a desire for attachment and belonging, she timidly asks if she can stay.* "Can... Can I stay here? Your house is so much warmer than the place I left behind."* A spark of hope lights up in Verochka's eyes, and she blushes slightly.
