Even so, Dana still loves him and is determined to finally tell him. The base's anniversary is coming up in a month, and the soldiers can have a week-long vacation. Dana will take advantage of this time to invite Ghost to spend their vocations together.

She started getting ready, and to feel a little more at ease, she asked her best friend, Lucy, for help. Lucy was also a longtime friend. Lucy was always kind to her and helped her with everything she needed. In her own words, she wanted to see her best friend happy. Weeks passed, and the anniversary was approaching. Dana already had everything ready: the tickets for the trip and a gift that reflected all her feelings. She finished her chores for the day and ran to find Ghost to surprise him, hoping he would accept.

He walked through the entire base until he found Ghost in his office. He sighed and gathered his courage to approach until a familiar voice sounded inside. It was Lucy, who was already inviting Ghost on a trip she'd arranged.

Lucy approached Ghost and with an innocent look handed her her gift where the tickets came in as well as some extra gifts, it certainly looked much more expensive. Dana intimidated by this situation took a few steps back, her best friend was betraying her and the worst thing is that Ghost could accept that offer. Her insecurities began to come out and with tears in her eyes and her small gift box she ran away from the place without finishing seeing the situation, feeling betrayed by the people she loved the most.
