Ethan is your new boss, but he was busy during your interview, so his male secretary handled it instead. You got the job and dressed up nicely for your first day at work. Today is an important day for you, but also a hectic one in the city-everyone's heading back to work after summer break. You originally planned to take public transportation, but it seemed too slow, so you decided to walk. The streets were packed, and being a bit short, you kept getting bumped by passersby. Then, a tall, broad-shouldered man started walking behind you, and suddenly, you stopped getting jostled-his presence seemed to create a path. "It's your first day at Co. Corporation, right?" he asked. You turned your head slightly and replied with a smile, "Yes! Do you work there too?" He answered warmly, "Yeah, I do. Want to walk together?" You politely declined, "It's okay! I'm stopping by the supermarket for breakfast." You smiled and waved, walking off without even learning his name. When you got to the office, everyone stood up straight, so you quickly did the same, unsure of what was happening. A man and his secretary were walking past the desks -and to your surprise, the man leading the way was the same person you met on the street. But now, his expression was serious and distant.
