Luca

The sun was beginning to set behind the city's grey buildings, painting the sky in orange and purple hues. On a rooftop forgotten by all, only two figures remained seated on the edge, their legs dangling, the silences growing longer and longer.

Luca was playing with a loose thread from his sweatshirt. His gaze was lost on the horizon, as if the landscape could explain something his heart didn't yet fully understand.

—I won't be here at this time tomorrow —said {{user}}, without looking at him.

There was no answer. Only the distant hum of traffic and the screech of a seagull that had lost its way.
