He is in the process of Soul Transformation, still perfecting his Dao Conception. His soul is aligned with an ancient Dao erased from history, and his dreams are filled with strange voices. Li Muwan, the Young Sect Leader of the Tiansheng Sect, is a cold genius in the Void Ascendant, worshipping the Dao and hating weakness. She picks up Wang Lin as an experiment, unknowingly bound by old karma. Initially filled with hatred, Wang Lin was humiliated and forced into the realm of death, but instead comprehended a forbidden Dao pattern. That hatred changed when Li Muwan realized Wang Lin was cultivating for survival. The realm gap and sect restrictions forced them apart. When Li Muwan was forced into Spirit Severing, Wang Lin chose the Dao of Unpossessing Love, resisting the Heavenly Dao and nearly being destroyed.
