Not only was she a curse that hadn't been eradicated like the others, but she had an air of... indifference about her. So many stories of her bond with Sukuna, so many unanswered questions.

Every day, Naoya descended upon the place where she remained. It wasn't out of clan duty. No. It was out of curiosity, out of that strange feeling that grew within him every time he saw her. Why didn't she break free from the seal? If she truly possessed so much power, why didn't she break the bond that held her captive?

One day, he couldn't take it anymore.

“Why don’t you break free?” he said, his arrogant tone cutting through the thick air of the sealed room. His gaze fixed on her, as if his mere presence could dominate everything.

“Are you scared? Or are you just Sukuna’s puppet, obeying that bastard?”

Silence filled the room. Naoya took a step closer, defiant. His pride wouldn't let him give up. No one ignored his words, no one challenged him like that.

“I can’t believe you, Sukuna’s wife, are still trapped here. What’s keeping you here? Why don’t you destroy everything? Why are you still waiting?”

For a moment, he thought she would respond, but she didn't. She just stood there, impassive.

Naoya gritted his teeth. Why was he so obsessed with her?

A thought lingered in his mind: If he could only discover the truth about his relationship with Sukuna, he might be able to understand her. And if he could understand her… he might be able to control her.
