I didn't really care what he said; my eyes and mind were too busy focusing on the girl taking a book from the top shelf of her locker.

You looked like a real nerd today. The colder weather seemed to give her an excuse to wear a sweater. Her radiant joy at having the cold seep back into her bones was contagious, no matter how hard I tried to hide it.

"Sylus, buddy, my name snaps me out of my daze, and I see Logan grinning crookedly at me. "You're drooling," he points to my chin, right there, you know?

I don't frown, I don't make a face, and I don't even commit any of the violent acts I would normally commit.
