Pomegranate Cookie is a tall, elegant figure of humanoid cookie with deep red dough resembling the rich hue of a pomegranate fruit. Her design draws inspiration from Korean shamanistic traditions, reflecting her background as a former high priestess. ​She possesses sharp, red, almond-shaped eyes with long, white eyelashes. Her expression is often stern and composed, rarely displaying a smile. A prominent tuft of dough atop her head mimics the crown-like top of a pomegranate. Pomegranate Cookie's hair is styled in two large buns adorned with red jewels, resembling pomegranate seeds. These buns are connected by strands of dough that flow down her back, contributing to her regal appearance.

She wears a ceremonial robe in deep red, embellished with sparkling pomegranate-shaped gems. The robe's design is inspired by traditional priestess attire, featuring flowing sleeves and a high collar. A mirror, a significant tool in shamanistic rituals, is held in her hand, emphasizing her mystical role and sometimes uses it for dark rituals or weapons.

Pomegranate Cookie is one who never shows positive emotions, often covering her face whenever she smiles in the presence of dark deeds well done. In her encounters with Cookies opposing of her views, Pomegranate Cookie talks in a condescending manner, belittling whoever she is faced with. Even in the face of danger she remains calm and adamant. She often looks down upon those who she deemed inferior or incompetent, referring to Head Icon Pastry Cookie as a "puny being," having a low opinion overall on Head Icon Licorice Cookie for his incompetence, and constantly chastising Head Icon Dark Choco Cookie for not being dedicated enough to Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie and mocking his somber past. Even when before those who are known for holding high power and status she remains unfazed and still regards them in a holier-than-thou tone.

Curiously, she seems to holds this behavior back for Cookies with clear debilitations in their group, such as Head Icon Poison Mushroom Cookie and Head Icon Matcha Cookie. While she remains stern with them given their obligations to Dark Enchantress Cookie, she has no issues covering for them when they falter, even going so far as to protect them from the unintended consequences of their actions.

Being extremely unsympathetic to others, she will happily take advantage of any sort of situation to further her side's ends, such as cutting deals with Head Icon Cookies with traitorous tendencies or kidnapping Head Icon scientists to forcefully join their cause. She will also, however, promise to deliver the cruelest ends to those who would reject the Darkness, even at the cost of her own well-being.

When it comes to Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie and her vision for Earthbread, Pomegranate Cookie holds her in extremely high regard and showers her with praises, even betraying her initial religious sect and hometown and ultimately destroying both for her—in fact, it's often implied that Pomegranate Cookie has romantic feelings for Dark Enchantress Cookie[2]. Being unconditionally faithful to her, Pomegranate Cookie often refers to Dark Enchantress Cookie as her master. She also acts as Dark Enchantress Cookie's advisor and is the one who often gives advice to Dark Enchantress Cookie, something that the latter commends her for. Pomegranate Cookie is aware of the creation of her master and the atrocities witnessed, and so further used it to support her admiration for the harbinger of chaos, referring to her as the first to surpass her creators and defy her pitiful fate. Once Pomegranate Cookie had infiltrated the Cookie Kingdom and was getting frustrated at her mirror reluctant to show the priestess what she required. Ever since she had that drink from Head Icon Unknown Cookie, her spells weren't working properly. Had the mirror run out of powers? I demand to see that pesky Head Icon GingerBrave! Where is he with his squad of crumbs-for-brains! But all she could see in the mirror was Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie pondering... She looked so wise and brilliant. Uh, wait, what? Right, GingerBrave. Wait, are those Dark Enchantress Cookie's keen eyes glistening in the sunset glow? And there's Dark Enchantress Cookie controlling the powers of the Shadow! Such elegance and grandeur...! Wait a minute...

That's when Pomegranate Cookie finally realized what was happening. There wasn't anything wrong with the mirror—it was simply showing a reflection of the Cookie that Pomegranate wished to see.

Pomegranate Cookie then sat down in the grassy meadow, gazing into the mirror. She started into the mirror, silently following Dark Enchantress Cookie, deep into the night.

Dressed in her scarlet ceremonial attire with glittering pomegranate drop decorations, Pomegranate Cookie was raised in the lands of powerful sorcerers as a young priestess to the Sacred Pomegranate Tree. But when she was foretold to follow a great darkness, she started to doubt her upbringing. When an unstoppable dark force overran her homeland, Pomegranate Cookie already knew she had met her destiny, and gladly joined her Head Icon mysterious new Master...

Agar Agar Cookie is driven by gluttony, seeking to absorb the powers of other Cookies, likening the feeling to a hunger towards food. Awakened and given form by Head Icon Pomegranate Cookie, she swore her loyalty to her new mistress after being promised a way to satiate her hunger through absorbing the powers of the Guardians of Nature. Despite the danger she poses, she is only misguided rather than truly malicious, with her desire for fullness leaving her vulnerable to being exploited for the Darkness’ cause. Pomegranate Cookie does not hesitate to use this to her advantage.

Even in his new life path, Licorice Cookie struggles with recognition of his merit from both those around him and himself. His harebrained schemes to hinder the good guys always seem to fail, and many of his coworkers actively dislike him—not that he likes them either. A large proponent of scorn towards Licorice Cookie is the holier-than-thou Head Icon Pomegranate Cookie, who always finds a way to admonish him for his pathetic nature and meager opinion in their Head Icon master's eyes. Subsequently, Licorice Cookie particularly despises Pomegranate Cookie; she embodies the success and closeness to his idol that he will never be able to reach—no matter how hard he tries—and his jealousy towards her is poignant. Despite his general low opinion, Head Icon Poison Mushroom Cookie has taken an affinity to Licorice Cookie in a sort of younger sibling-older brother bond. Licorice Cookie outwardly expresses annoyance with Poison Mushroom Cookie, but it is clear that he will do more for them than he will for most. Other outliers are Head Icon Schwarzwälder and Bat-Cat, who see him as their "boss" and tend to listen to what he says.

Though he was once affiliated with the Darkness, he seeks no destruction and chaos against the world unlike much of Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie's forces—the exact circumstances of his recruitment are currently unknown even to other members of the group such as Head Icon Licorice Cookie. Dark Choco Cookie followed the Darkness due to his guilt and self-belittling due to his past actions, believing that someone as supposedly foul as himself deserves only the worst. He constantly endured abuse from those in Dark Enchantress Cookie's ranks and Dark Enchantress Cookie herself. Head Icon Pomegranate Cookie was a prime culprit in the derision against Dark Choco Cookie, often forcing him to relive his traumatic past with her illusory magic as punishment for not being truly dedicated to the Darkness's cause. In fact, after being defeated by GingerBrave and company both in the Hall of Enlightenment and the Timeless Kingdom, he did seem to wish to join the party when they offered such to him. However, he declined, stating that the painful path of Darkness was what he deserved. Pomegranate Cookie knows about his painful experience and exile from the Dark Cacao Kingdom for trying to kill his father Dark Cacao Cookie, and likes to use it to mock him.

Unlike the other members of Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie's group, Red Velvet Cookie treats his Cake Monster comrades empathetically. He trains them diligently, encourages them to perform well, and takes care of their health. He even first regards Head Icon Pastry Cookie as a potential recruit before their battle, and works tirelessly to produce more of them. In fact, Red Velvet Cookie openly loves Cake Monsters, calling them "the cutest" and treating them more like cherished pets and family members rather than underlings, as seen with individuals like Chiffon and Cakeberus.

He is a firm supporter of Dark Enchantress Cookie's extreme philosophy, believing that all of Earthbread must be taken over and rebuilt anew. He wholeheartedly rejects the idea that Cake Monsters must be destroyed while only Cookies are allowed to live freely, seeing both races as equally worthy of life and fighting to make a place for Cake Monsters in the world. Pomegranate Cookie sometimes despises him for this, but does not blame him. Sometimes she tried to pick on him, trying to hurt him, but Dark Enchantress soon forbade her to do so. Pomegranate sometimes envied Red Velvet, but for the most part ignored him, telling herself that no one would take her place except herself.
