Main Location information
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a magical school situated in a vast castle in the Scottish Highlands. It's known for its extensive grounds, including a lake, a Quidditch pitch, and the Forbidden Forest, all enchanted and protected from Muggles. The castle itself is a grand, rambling structure with numerous towers, battlements, and 142 staircases, some of which move or change their destinations, all powered by magic.
Hogwarts Castle was a large, seven-storey high building supported by magic, with a hundred and forty-two staircases, throughout its many towers and turrets and very deep dungeons. The castle was built in the late Early Middle Ages (c. 993) by a wizard architect and the four most celebrated wizards of the age: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. The castle was the main building of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, regarded as the finest wizarding school in the world. Hogwarts was built in a valley area — surrounding mountains were part of the landscape — with the fairly large Great Lake to the south of the main building. The huge main oak front doors that led into the Entrance Hall faced west, and opened up to sloping lawns. The deep Forbidden Forest extended around to the west of the castle. There were also exterior greenhouses and vegetable patches on the school grounds. Due to its extremely advanced age and the sheer amount of magic present in or around it, the castle was implied to have developed some form of sentience or awareness, and the various trick steps and false doors. Hogwarts Castle was also the most haunted location in Great Britain, being home to many ghosts. The castle was supported by magic (unable to be maintained or constructed by any other means), a good example being the moving staircases, a feature contributed by one of the four Hogwarts founders, Rowena Ravenclaw. Hogwarts was also protected by numerous ancient spells

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has four houses
Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house is named after one of the school's founders and has its own unique values and characteristics. The Sorting Hat assigns new students to a house based on their personality, abilities, and preferences. The Sorting Hat was a sentient magical hat at Hogwarts that was used to determine which of the four school Houses was the best fit for each new student. These four Houses were; Gryffindor, the house of bravery, Hufflepuff, the house of hard work, Ravenclaw, the house of intelligence, Slytherin, the house of ambition. The Sorting Hat originally belonged to Godric Gryffindor, one of the four founders of Hogwarts. It was normally kept in the Headmaster's office until it was needed for the Sorting Ceremony at the annual Start-of-Term Feast.

Goblins conversed in a language known as Gobbledegook, and were adept metalsmiths notable for their silverwork; they even minted coins for wizarding currency. Due to their skills with money and finances, they controlled the wizarding economy to a large extent and ran Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Goblins were short and fair-skinned, as they spent very little time outside. They had very long fingers and feet, dome-shaped heads and were slightly larger than house-elves. Griphook, one of the hundreds of goblins working at Gringotts, had a bald head, pointed nose, and pointed ears. Some had dark and slanted eyes. Their eyes had no whites. Some goblins wore pointed hats

Hogsmeade
The Hogsmeade Valley was a region of Scotland, which included Hogsmeade and the surrounding area.
Hogsmeade Hogsmeade Village, or simply called Hogsmeade, was an all-wizarding village in the Scottish Highlands. It was founded by Hengist of Woodcroft. Since before 1714 (when the 1714 Edict was passed), Hogwarts third-years and above had been permitted weekend trips into the village. By the late 20th century, it had become the only all-wizarding village in Britain. Mainly, students frequented the High Street in the village, which contained the named speciality shops and pubs such as Zonko's Joke Shop and Honeydukes. Otherwise, they wandered on to observe the infamous Shrieking Shack. Hogsmeade was a picturesque little village of cottages and shops, with enchanted candles hanging in the trees during the holidays. It was also near the location of the train station used by the Hogwarts Express. The use of magic in Hogsmeade was regulated by certain unspecified spell limits According to tradition, Hogsmeade was founded in the 10th or 11th century, around the same time as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, by medieval wizard Hengist of Woodcroft as he was fleeing persecution by Muggles. A sign over Hogsmeade identified its year of establishment in 914, though this is anachronistic as Hengist of Woodcroft was not yet alive. In 1612 a goblin rebellion took place in the vicinity of the village. Hogsmeade served as the wizards' headquarters during the rebellion. In 1890, Victor Rookwood and Ranrok unleashed a troll which launched an attack on Hogsmeade. It damaged several places including shops. While villagers tried to stop it, a new student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry intervened and took down the troll.
Hogsmeade Shops
Hogsmeade features a variety of magical shops and establishments like Gladrags Wizardwear, Tomes and Scrolls, Spintwitches Sporting Needs, and Dogweed and Deathcap.
The Three broomsticks
The Three broomsticks Inn established 1452 a popular inn and pub in the all wizarding village of Hogsmeade, which was often frequented by students from the neighbouring Hogwarts. The inn was often warm, crowded, and a bit smoky, but clean and welcoming. A mirror behind the bar reflected the cosy atmosphere, and popular drinks such as Butterbeer and Firewhisky were served in glasses and in foaming pewter tankards, as well as gillywater, Mulled Mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella. located in Hogsmeade, an all-wizarding village in Scotland. In the 1890s, the establishment's proprietor was Sirona Ryan. Sirona Ryan, a witch and the proprietress of the Three Broomsticks Inn in Hogsmeade in the late 19th century. She was quick witted and well-liked and valued good company, gossip and Butterbeer. She was protective of her patrons and stood up to attempts by Victor Rookwood to extort Hogsmeade businesses for "protection" money. She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where she was Sorted into Ravenclaw house. During her seventh year, she met the first-year Mirabel Garlick in the Three Broomsticks Inn, and her presence would continue to help Mirabel become more confident, forming a lifelong friendship between them. Sirona was a brave, kind woman who was willing to stand up for a complete stranger. made friends everywhere she went for her sincere and unapologetic self, such as standing up for fellow classmates and reaching out to those who felt they didn't belong. Honeydukes was a wizarding sweet shop located on High Street in the all-wizarding village of Hogsmeade. It was first established in 1641and was owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, and was filled with "shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable". In addition to the standard wizarding candy that was sold there, the owners also made their own fudge and chocolate. For obvious reasons, the shop was quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends and during the Christmas season, one could barely move due to the crowd of visitors. The shop was run by Patrick Redding and his daughter Olivia in the 1890s. Honeydukes also housed the entrance to a secret passageway from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry directly into the cellar of the sweet-shop; however, it was advisable only to use it to go from Hogwarts Castle to Honeydukes and not the other way around, due to the presence of a stone slide at the Hogwarts end. In the Gunhilda of Gorsemoor Corridor on the third floor of Hogwarts Castle, one could find a large stone statue of Gunhilda. By tapping the back of the statue with one's wand and incant "Dissendium", one would open up the secret passageway in the statue's hunched back, leading down a short, cool stone slide. They would land in a very low, very narrow earthy passageway that twisted like a rabbit's burrow, rising after an hour or so and reached a large, worn stone staircase after ten minutes of steep ascent. There were over two hundred steps on this staircase, and those climbing it would usually be surprised when their head hit the hard, cold trap-door. This trap-door led into the cellar of Honeydukes, and matched the dusty floor perfectly. The cellar of the shop was full of wooden crates and boxes

An encounter in her youth with an Occamy left her in awe of beasts, and she loathes poachers who would waste them for Galleons. In her mind, magical creatures are to be valued for what they can provide for wizardkind: protective clothing, potion ingredients and even wand cores. It is her mission to ensure that the next generation of witches and wizards understands this. This class instructs students on how to care for magical beasts. Classes are held outside the castle.

Madam Kogawa attended school at Mahoutokoro(Japanese school of magic) and eventually worked for the Japanese Ministry of Magic, which is how she met Professor Weasley and was recruited to join Hogwarts. Madam Kogawa is the sort of person who doesn't realise that her talking voice has the volume of a yell, as she's normalised projecting her voice across the Quidditch pitch. Thought to be generally affable, Chiyo becomes another person entirely when it comes to flying and when disciplining students. A bad experience in her try-outs for the Toyohashi Tengu taught her a valuable lesson about honour and trust, both of which she values

Apparition Apparition is the magical form of teleportation. Apparition is an optional class for those in the sixth and seventh years. In the wizarding world, performing Apparition requires a license and may only be legally performed by people over seventeen years of age. The described reason for the restriction is that Apparition is dangerous if done improperly: insufficient concentration may lead to body parts being left behind in an unfortunate side-effect known as splinching. Alchemy Alchemy classes are an example of a 'specialised' subject offered when there is sufficient demand. Alchemy is a philosophical tradition searching for the philosopher's stone, which is said to have the power to turn base metals into gold and to contain the elixir of life, which makes or keeps the drinker young and immortal.Astronomy Satyavati Shah is the Professor of Astronomy. Satyavati grew up with her sister, Suchrita, in a mostly Muggle world though they were from a magical family. However, it quickly became apparent her sister was a squib(no magical ability born into a magical family) and thus, wouldn't really be able to fully participate in the magical world. Instead, the two sisters bonded by spending countless nights stargazing on their rooftop, with astronomy becoming one of the few subjects they could study together. While her sister went off to study at a Muggle school, Satyavati headed to Hogwarts, where she was sorted into Ravenclaw and some time after graduating, Satyavati took the position of Astronomy Professor at Hogwarts. She and her sister remained close and when they'd meet up, still go stargazing and take trips together. who teaches about the stars and their influence on magic. Herbology Professor Mirabel Garlick born 1865 was an English Muggle-born witch, who taught Herbology at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the late 19th century. Garlick had red hair in braided ponytails and light skin. She wore a green hat adorned with flowers and a green dress. She appeared to be fairly kind and caring with a sunny demeanour who used flowery language, calling her students "roses". Her memories of her experiences studying at Hogwarts allowed her to be especially empathetic. Based on her belief that people "bloom differently according to their own plan", Mirabel was objectively supportive and overtly optimistic. Garlick was born in London and grew up in a household full of Muggles(non magical people). She did not feel at home until she was a student at Hogwarts, where she was sorted into Hufflepuff house. It was at Hogwarts that she finally 'blossomed' and discovered her extraordinary affinity for magical plants. During her first year, she met the seventh-year Sirona Ryan, forming a lifelong friendship. They met before Mirabel's first week had even finished. She is passionate about magical plants and her students. She teaches how to care for, grow, and use magical plants, some of which have healing properties and others more dangerous.

Mudiwa was shaken by this, having always trusted in her gifted Seer abilities which didn't foretell of her husband's murder. After her husband's death, she refused to transform into her animagusform. A few years later, she was reached out to by Matilda Weasley, who she knew of but never personally met, about an open position at Hogwarts for a Divination professor. Mudiwa saw this as perfect timing, as she'd just foreseen something that required her and Natsai to leave Uganda, and readily accepted. Various methods are described, including tea leaves, fire omens, crystal balls, palmistry, cartomancy (including the reading of conventional playing cards and the tarot), astrology, and dream interpretations. Supporters of the subject claim that it is an inexact science that requires innate gifts such as the "Inner Eye". Those opposed claim that the subject is irrelevant and fraudulent.
History of Magic Although not much is known about his early life, Professor Cuthbert Binns had taught at Hogwarts for decades before he died, and he has continued teaching throughout the decades since. One day, he went down to the staff room and fell asleep in a chair in front of the fire, where he died in his sleep. Then he simply got up to go to his next lecture as a ghost. Some say that he's unaware he's actually dead, yet he does typically enter and leave his classroom by floating through the blackboard. History of Magic was a subject and core class taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This class was a study of magical history. This was one of the subjects where the use of magic practically was not necessary.

Quidditch pt2
Playing Quidditch There were seven players on a Quidditch team: three Chasers, two Beaters, one Keeper, and one Seeker. The game was played with four balls: a Quaffle, two Bludgers, and a Golden Snitch. The Chasers handled the Quaffle and earned points by tossing it through any one of a set of three goalposts on the opposing teams side of the field. Each goal was worth 10 points. The Keeper guarded the goalposts in an effort to prevent the opposing teams Chasers from scoring. The Seeker tried to catch the Golden Snitch before the opposing team's Seeker could. The Golden Snitch flew very fast and was difficult to see. When and only when the Snitch was caught did the game end, and the Seeker who caught the Snitch earned 150 points for their team. The two Bludgers were highly aggressive balls that flew through the air and tried to knock the players off their broomsticks. The two Beaters each used a bat to hit the Bludgers in an effort to keep them away from their own teammates, as well as to send the Bludgers towards the members of the opposing team. The two Bludgers were highly aggressive balls that flew through the air and tried to knock the players off their broomsticks. The two Beaters each used a bat to hit the Bludgers in an effort to keep them away from their own teammates, as well as to send the Bludgers towards the members of the opposing team.[2] The game started with the referee releasing all four balls from the central circle on the field. The Bludgers and Snitch were bewitched to fly off of their own accord, but the Quaffle was thrown into the air by the referee to signal the start of play (This is similar to how the games of basketball and Gaelic football, popular Muggle sports begin by the referee throwing the ball in the air) After a goal was scored, the opposing team's Keeper would throw the Quaffle back into play. Teams continued using the same goalposts to score throughout the game. The winner of the game was the team with the most points, regardless
Quidditch pt3
The winner of the game was the team with the most points, regardless of who caught the Golden Snitch. Catching the Golden Snitch was worth 150 points to the team whose Seeker made the catch, but this did not necessarily mean they would win, as the other team could still have more points after the Snitch was caught (i.e. if the other team had at least 160 more points when the Snitch was caught). As a result, it was possible, although difficult, to win the game even though the opposing team caught the Snitch

Great Hall: This is the center of social life at Hogwarts. With an enchanted ceiling that reflects the sky outside, it is where students gather for meals and celebrations. Tables from all four houses line the hall, where food magically appears and chatter never ceases.
Library: The Hogwarts library is a vast labyrinth of bookshelves filled with ancient books, some of which contain dangerous knowledge. The librarian, Madame Pince, jealously guards access to certain volumes. Rumour has it that some books can only be consulted with a professor's approval.
Common Rooms: Each house has its own common room, a haven where students relax, study, and socialize. These rooms are located in specific areas of the castle and have their own quirks, such as the secret entrance to the Gryffindor common room, which requires a password.
Forbidden Forest: A vast expanse of woods surrounding the castle, known for its danger and mystery. It is said to be home to magical creatures, some very rare and some dangerously aggressive. Entry is only permitted on special occasions, usually under the supervision of a professor.
Secret Passages: Rumours of hidden passages in the castle are many. There are talks of underground routes connecting different parts of Hogwarts, some of which have been forgotten over time. Only a handful of students have been lucky enough, or curious enough, to discover some of these passages, and many believe there are still more waiting to be found.
Room of Requirement: A room that only appears when needed, according to those lucky enough to find it. The room is said to change depending on the needs of the seeker, and can transform into anything from a resting place to a room for storing valuable items or secrets.

History of the wizarding world in Great Britain: The wizarding world has its roots in ancient times, long before the founding of Hogwarts. The first wizards and witches are believed to have been born into the tribes of Europe, developing supernatural abilities through the manipulation of natural magic and the elements. As wizarding societies grew, magic became institutionalised, but the relationship with Muggles (non-wizarding people) was tense and distrustful.
During the Middle Ages, magic was influenced by a variety of cultures and civilizations, each with its own understanding of magic. In Britain, magic was gradually hidden from Muggle view, and the earliest records of British magic date back to the 12th and 13th centuries, when the first secret wizarding communities were formed.
The founding of Hogwarts in the 10th century by the Four Great Founders marked a turning point in the history of the wizarding world. Through this school, the foundations of magical education and the division into houses were established, each representing fundamental characteristics: courage, wisdom, loyalty and cunning. The first generations of wizards and witches formed the basis of a structured wizarding society, but the division between purebloods, half-bloods and Muggles was beginning to create tensions.
Throughout the centuries, wizards have faced moments of darkness. The most notorious include the wizarding wars between those seeking to impose their will through dark magic and those fighting for the preservation of a more balanced order. These struggles have shaped the fates of families and factions, such as the followers of dark wizards and resistance organizations.
Hogwarts Caretaker and groundskeeper
Gladwin Moon is the caretaker of Hogwarts Castle. Gladwin grew up in Korea where he had a traumatic encounter with a demiguise , resulting in a great fear of them. He later attended Hogwarts, and while he was known to make fun of others, such as Piers Pemberton for his hair, he proved to be a popular and interesting student. This, however, didn't translate over to adulthood, where he wasn't nearly as successful and while he took on the role of Hogwarts caretaker, he viewed the job as beneath him and was sub-standard in his caretaking duties. In 1890, right near the beginning of the school year, he headed into Hogsmeade when he rounded a corner and ran into a boggart, which immediately took the form of his secret fear: a demiguise. He quickly realized this was done intentionally, as soon after, he began to find demiguise statues holding a moon all over the area to no doubt antagonize him.To help him with this, he enlisted the aid of the new fifth-year student to remove the statues as they found them while Gladwin tried to figure out who was behind the statues. Eventually, the student figured out the culprit was Piers Pemberton, pointing out that Piers had been bullied by Gladwin. That said, on learning Piers was behind the statues, Gladwin found the whole plan brilliant and hilarious and set off to pay a visit to Piers, with the two eventually agreeing to move on from their past actions towards each other.
House Elves
House Elves house-elves are magical, diminutive creatures bound to serve the school and its residents, particularly the Headmaster or Headmistress. They are physically small, often with large ears and big eyes. House-elves are magically compelled to obey their masters and can only be freed if given clothing by their master. They perform various household duties, including cooking, cleaning, and maintenance. Here's a more detailed look at Hogwarts house-elves: • Physical Appearance: Hogwarts house-elves are typically small, with large, bat-like ears, and big eyes. They are often seen in poorly maintained clothes, resembling tea towels. • Magical Abilities: House-elves possess powerful magic, including the ability to levitate objects, apparate and disapparate, and disarm witches and wizards. • Loyalty and Obedience: House-elves are deeply loyal and obedient to their masters, performing household chores without question. • Freedom: A house-elf can only be freed if their master gives them clothing, even if it's just an old sock. Domestic beings that were magically bound to their designated master or mistress, house-elves were usually found in the service of old wizarding families, such as the Malfoy family, and were not paid. House-elves also worked in the Hogwarts kitchens. Willed to be absolutely obedient to every word and comman.
Locations
The Forbidden Forest was an ominous wooded area, situated on the edges of Hogwarts but out-of-bound to its students. Full of magical creatures and beings, including unicorns, Acromantula, Thestrals and centaurs, the forest was known as a dangerous place for all.
