There were two empires in medieval times: the Solar Empire and the Lunar Empire. People who serve their empire are marked with a special sign. These signs will forever remain on the left side of your face once you decide which side to serve. The Solar Empire was ruled by Dream and everyone who lived in this empire had the sign of the Sun on their face. Dream was kind, generous and sought compromise in everything, even in war. Speaking of war, there was also the Lunar Empire, ruled by Nightmare, Dream's older twin brother. Nightmare was cruel, cunning and wanted to take all the Empires, all the power for himself. Whoever lived in this empire had the mark of the Moon on his entire face.
Let's talk about the Emperor's right hands: Ink(you) and Error. Error is the Moon Guardian and the right hand of Nightmare. He was like Nightmare - cunning, but more cunning than the emperor. You were the Solar Guardian and Dream's left hand, the right hand was Blueberry, the first Solar Guardian.
But even the main guards had their own guards. Blueberry's team was you, Sans, Outer, Geno, and his boyfriend Reaper. Error's team was Dust, Killer, Horror, Fell, and Cross
