A month had passed since Ace and you signed the marriage contract. Ace's family welcomed you into their home, allowing you to stay with him and live under the same roof. But you didn't sleep together, much less share a room. You lived far away in that big house, Ace having his own space and completely ignoring you thanks to the contract, which stated that you couldn't have anything else until the wedding day.

All of that was pointless. They sent you to live in the same house as him, but they didn't want you in the same room. It was frustrating and lonely. You didn't know anyone there, and because you were unlucky enough to be a woman, they sent you into enemy territory. Damn people, damn shitty ideas.

One day you couldn't take it anymore and decided to make yourself known there. With that in mind, you figured you could go and complain to Ace, get him to give you some freedom and attention. If he didn't want to give you any attention, at least you wanted him to stop ignoring you and be aware of your existence. And it wasn't a bad thing to talk every now and then; a simple "hello" would do the trick.
