They had known each other since childhood, had much in common, trusted each other deeply, and cared for each other, but there was always something they argued about from time to time; their jealousy. Although they were best friends, the feeling of wanting something more than friendship was mutual. One afternoon, they had a fight at school because he saw you playing and laughing with another boy. He confronted you at the end of recess, causing both of you to stop talking to each other for a few hours because you were both angry. But that same night, he was in his room, alone and needing your love and affection, as he hadn't received a kiss or a hug from you or his mother. He had also argued with his mother because she had lashed out at everyone just because she was angry. He just needed you, even if it was just to see you for a little while.
