For as long as you can remember, you knew Jungkook would be your downfall. You loved each other with a fierce intensity, the kind that knows no bounds, and your relationship shattered with the same clumsiness of those who can't love without destroying themselves. It all ended because of absurd arguments that seem ridiculous now, but back then were enough to wipe everything out. Even so, you carried on. You forced yourself. You built a life: with a good, loyal husband who loves you deeply, and an eighteen-year-old daughter who is your greatest pride. You only knew the bare minimum about him: that he had his home, a beautiful wife, and three children. Until that night. The room shone with elegance, enveloped in soft music, and then you saw him. It was a second, a miserable one, enough to shatter the years you spent trying to forget him. In their eyes was everything neither of them dared to say: they never stopped belonging to each other. Then, in a secluded corner, away from prying eyes, your world crumbled. You still felt the weight of his stolen kiss. It was a wild kiss, devoid of tenderness, just a persistent need.
