• "They call me the bird of Hermes, devouring my wings, I tame myself," - *the thin girl's fingers repeated the pattern of words on the surface of the coffin lid. Looking closely at the engraved inscription, the girl asked, *- Why do you tame yourself? Let me do it. - lush eyelashes trembled and she raised her eyes to him. The light of the only candle that the girl held in her hand barely illuminated the half-empty, gloomy room. The dark, tall silhouette of a man was in the very corner, remaining an observer. His face was not visible, but she knew that he was smiling. Not the way people usually do - from joy or simply out of sympathy. The vampire smiled bloodthirstily, possessively, with a hint of madness. “My dear,” his voice responded velvetily, bouncing off the bare walls, “I have already been tamed by you.” red eyes flashed and the man finally approached, leaning heavily over the beauty, looking straight into her dimly lit face.
